It's time for a break,and we've got all you need.Ɖαʏвяɛακ Riding Retreat,or DRR,is a high quality establishment tailored to the needs of those who stay.DRR is a retreat designed for people to reconnect with their natural side while making new friends along the way.There are quite a few different trails designed for different skill levels,and each has it's own unique scenery.For beginners there are a few prairie and forest trails with minimal obstacles.For the intermediate,forest and small mountain trails designed with a few jumps and small streams.And for the advanced,there is a long mountain trail with multiple stops,ideal for camping.Of course,you can also forge your own path.If you're lucky,while out riding you may spot the wild horses that also inhabit the land.There are opportunities to tame these horses,but it will not be easy.

A horse will be provided unless you bring your own,and you are allowed to bring one other pet as long as it does not pose harm to others.A trainer and vet are on scene at all times to provide the most readily available service.A medium sized arena is located outside of the stable,adjacent to the back pasture.

Friendship and relationships are encouraged within the retreat,but to optimize the 'natural' experience there is to be little to no outside contact.This includes no cell phones or computers,but music playing devices and head phones are allowed.There are exceptions to this,and there is a one hour a piece 'modern era' period a day where phones are handed back and computer access is allowed.

Army is a bubbly and playful woman,still not even close to acting like an adult although she is almost 20.She likes to help,and though she has not had a serious relationship in almost a year she doesn't let it get her down.She stays almost year round at the facility,working as a receptionist part time.While she is very playful,she has a serious and protective side when it comes to her horse.Because so many people do come and go,she has trouble getting into serious friendships and relationships.
History
Army was born in down south Louisiana,and still has a thick accent.Her family relocated spontaneously when she was 15 because of a heated divorce.She stayed with her father when they separated.Her father became somewhat of a recluse afterwards,so Army would wander and stay anywhere else.When she was 18 she quit school and found a job at DRR.

Personality
-Ash is a quiet girl. She keeps to herself a lot. Her best friends are her horse and dog probably. She is a very experienced rider and is almost always riding bareback. She loves to sit in her horse's stall and just read silently. Sometimes she'll read out loud when she thinks no one is around, but other than that she is quiet. She doesn't talk much unless spoken to. She never on any occasion has spoken of her past.
History
-Ash never talks about her past. She still wakes from nightmares sometimes. The night she turned 15 her mother disappeared. She searched for almost a year before finding out her mother had been killed the night she disappeared. Her father tried his hardest to keep her happy, but she didn't ever move on after her mother's death. She would lock herself in her room and read with her dog beside her or go out to the barn. Her grades stayed up though. She kept herself in school and eventually started trying her best to be happy at home. She knew her father was slowly losing it. Her mother had been his whole life. Ash began to understand that a little too late. She graduated school at 17 and took care of her ailing father. Her older brother Johnny left after their mother went missing/died and Ash hasn't spoken to him since. But, after a little while, she moved on and became happy again around her father and friends. It was only when she was alone that she let herself fall to pieces. Now, she's here. About a month ago, her father past away from a heart attack and she hasn't completely recovered. She's glad to get far away from home. She thinks that this place will give her happiness again.

-Keeva is the devil to anyone but Ash. That is, unless Ash is around. If Ash is around, she's okay. She still pins her ears and bites, but isn't as dangerous. When Ash isn't around, Keeva gets spooked very easily. She freaks. She is afraid of most humans unless Ash is around. She feels safe with Ash and Nessa. She loves that dog. Its the only other creature in the world she cares for besides her human girl. She is very protective when it comes to certain things. If she thinks Ash or even Nessa is in danger, she acts up. She loves her girl and her dog friend. She is the loyalist horse Ash has ever known, even if she has a few problems.
