Fane took a deep breath, "I kind of sort of like you." He said more slowly, although a bit fast, but not too fast. Fane looked at Sage with a nervous expression.

Sage looked at her lap and then back up at him,but as soon as she opened her mouth to speak,a loud growl sounded from behind her and soon a brown wolf stuck his head out of the bushes.The growl grew stronger and louder as he slowly walked out.Sage felt her body freeze as a cold feeling ran up her spine.she looked at the wolf,managing to avoid eye contact.It seemed to be protecting her in away because it now stood in front of her,it knew something that she didn't...and maybe even something taht she didn't want to know...

Fane shrank back from the brown wolf, then he froze as soon as he was at least a few inches away from the wolf. He avoided eye-contact, his heart beating out of his chest.

Sage stayed quiet until she felt something grab her hair.She whimpered as she felt herself being dragged away,her satchel and cloth slowly slipping off.She watched the bushes swallow her up before she reached out to grab something,but she knew that she was helpless.The brown wolf stayed there,making sure that Fane wouldn't run,his growl was lower but it still held anger.

Fane heard Sage's whimpering and looked into the brown wolf's eyes, his eyes showing a mixed of emotions.

Sage felt the grip on her hair loosen and a new pressure was applied to the back part of her shirt{like those pirate shirts in movies} and she was now being half carried-half dragged towards the location.The brown wolf growled louder and snapped at the air separating his and Fane's face.

Fane flinched a little and slowly moved his hand to where his dagger is and got up, bending his knees, "If it's a fight you want. It's a fight you'll get." He said, and moved swiftly to the side when the wolf snapped after his side.

In the distance she could hear Fane.His words made her body shake she whimpered quietly.She suddenly felt her body lie on the ground and in an instant she started running towards Fane and the wolf.The wolf lunged forward but stopped in front of him,growling menacingly.Sage ran in front of the wolf,not wanting the wolf or Fane to get hurt.

Fane stood there, shocked, with his dagger out when Sage got in between the wolf and him, "Sa...Sage? How did you escape?"
