"I don't know what to ask." Gemma said honestly. A snake was slithering across, unnoticed, that is, until Gemma felt something breaking the skin on her ankle. She let out a loud yelp and looked down, seeing the snake, and fainted.

Logan heard a yelp come from the barn, "Did you hear that yelp? Or did I imagine it?" He asked Winnie.

Ryan felt panic rush through him.He,as gently as he could,picked up the snake and threw it down to the ground floor,hearing it hiss loudly as it touched the ground.He hoisted Gemma over his shoulder and slowly climbed down the stairs,managing to avoid the snake.

Gemma's mind was blank, the world was dark, as she had fainted. She was breathing shallowly, the poison slowly spreading throughout her body. It is a lucky thing that, when one faints, he/she could not feel pain.

Logan ran after Winnie, going into the barn and seeing a young man with a young lady that has fainted. He also noted that her ankle was swelling. He knew he had heard a snake hissing.

Winnie glared at the snake and killed it in one quick,not so womanly move.She then inspected the snake"Ryan,go inside and get me a bowl with warm water and a towel,some gauze preferably..."she said,taking the woman in her hands,inspecting the bite.

He felt hopelessness flow through him as he ran back to the house.Grabbing the needed materials he ran back.

Gemma was limp, unmoving, the only thing that indicated she was even remotely alive, was the fact that she was still breathing.

Winnie treated the bite,soon wrapping it in gauze{I'm just lazy today}.She looked at Gemma's pale face with a sigh before lifting her up and carrying her back to the house,staying silent.
