I smile at her, still quietly playing it. "Thanks," I say. "I've been playing since I was about 6."

I shrug. 'Most people don't.'

'I don't' I sign to him, looking down for a moment.

Mason looked down, blushing from embarrassment, 'Sorry.'

I shrug and shake my head. "It's ok," I sign to him, turning away to try and concentrate on my book and ignore the various students staring at me.

Mason smiled and glanced at her every now and then.

As I read, I loghtly tap my foot on the floor in time to a song stuck in my head. I start to whisper sing the words, but then remind myself there's people around, so I stop. I bite my lip, glancing around to make sure no one heard.
