I look at the clock as I finish doing my hair and straighten the cowl neck on my sweater dress. Walking out of the bathroom, I grab my messenger back with all my books in it and apply some lipgloss, before leaving my room to go to class.

Sasha had gotten up early, not wanting to be late. It was her first day of class, as she had just arrived yesterday. She quickly showered, dried her hair, got dressed, and gathered her things before leaving her room to go to class.


Sean was early to class. He sat silently, playing a game on his phone as he waited for the other performance students. The day before, he had asked for a part in the upcoming play, but hadn't received one. Oh well, He thought, There is always a next time.

Victor sat inside, listening Coldplay with his eyes closed. His black hair was in his face and his hood was pulled up. The black sketch book sat idly on his desk, and pencils were scattered here and there and his thumbs twitched on occasions.

Lea sat looking at her play book. She had came in early to look at the costumes that the school provided. Romeo and Juliette was a starting play for most schools. They were only doing it for practice. She didn't mind though.

I get to music class and sit in the same seat I did yesterday. Setting down my bag, I take out my books and wait for class to start. A lock over my hair falls out of my french braid and into my face. I sigh and tuck it behind my ear, putting on my headphones as I turn Pandora on on my cell phone.

Alex had her backpack slung over her shoulder when she walks into the classroom. She looks around and decides to sit in a chair in the front row. Her backpack drops on the ground as she sits down and she exhales as she pulls out a pen and her notebook. Alex, also, brought her ukulele with her to class.

I pick up my accoustic guitar and place the strap over my shoulder, walking out of my room. I whistle softly as I walk to class, one hand on the neck of my instrument, and the other in my jeans pocket.
