"Amanda, but just call me 'Manda', 'Man,' or 'A man, duh'," She joked. Her friends just called her 'Manda, though. And she liked that for some odd reason. She put her hand out in front of herself for Joe to shake.

"Nice to meet you 'Manda." Joe replied shaking her hand as she put it out in front of him,
"So, did you come out to the beach just to make fun of kids in oddly colored swim shorts or did you have other plans?" he asked her.

Brent finally started swimming closer to the shore, but not too close. Then he started swimming the right

Drake looked out towards the water, then back at her, "So.. you uh, like to swim?.."

Paige by now had put her headphones back on and was listening to The 1975 again though she kept her eyes locked on Brent. She was starting to think that maybe she had been a bit harsh on him as the adrenaline started to die down but she was still angry at him. Paige took another sip of her soda and watched him carefully.

Amanda shrugged, "A little bit of both, I guess. But I was a bit disappointed when I saw there was only one person like that," She pulled her hand back. She honestly had no idea why she came to the beach today. She thought maybe she would go in the water, but decided against it when she got there. So she had just been tanning since then.

"Sounds like a pretty busy day then." Joe told her obviously being a bit sarcastic, "Ya know all of this teasing is making me a bit hungry. Ya want to go get a hotdog or something?" he asked standing up from the sand.

Amanda stood up as well, "Yeah, I'm kinda hungry too, so sure." She said, looking at the direction of small snack bar. That looked like a good place to talk and eat, and she didn't have anything better to do, so why not? She's single and... well, she doesn't like mingling, so not that, but you get the point.

Joe walked with Amanda towards the snack bar, "I'll have a hotdog, a pepsi and…" he turned to Amanda, "What do you want?" he asked her pulling out his wallet.
