(sorry for late posts...basement flooded after a ice storm.)

"One of my favourite bands, but really I just like the music."Ignis spoke as he turned the volume down a bit, seeing as it was rather loud. His ears were somewhat sensitive to noises around him, obviously depending on what it was.

Leah nodded. "Yeah, they have really good music," she agreed. She was greatful that he had turned down the music because she had a hard time talking over it with her quiet voice.

"Indeed they do."Ignis nodded as he pulled the car up to the arcade parking lot.He unbuckled his seat belt and turned off the car, swinging his door open and getting out. He had the quarters stuffed into his pockets.

A few moments later, the movie was playing and Hawthorne was attempting to ignore the thwacking at the door that had resumed in earnest. It was apparently too much to ask to enjoy himself on a lovely Sunday, where all he had to worry about was entertaining his girlfriend and making sure they didn't freeze. Gripping a cushion rather firmly, Hawthorne set his jaw in irritation as he contemplated the actions that were mutilating the front door. Before long, he was following the rhythm of the assault, following one of the lines the movie was known for: Inconceivable...inconceivable... Yes. It was inconceivable to think he'd found total peace in Idaho. There just had to be that flaw in his ideal location.

Leah unbuckled her seat belt and stepped out of the car, closing the door behind her. She joined Ignis on the other side and walked inside with him, her hand in his.

Ignis smiled slightly at Leah, feeling her delicate palm in his hand.She opened the door,ushering her out of the cold as he felt the cold nip at his ears. He knew he just got out of the car but still felt the cold.

Dara blinked as she itched one pf her eyes, feeling an irritating sensation slink around. It felt somewhat like a fly crawling around on bare skin, but she was finally able to ignore the bizarre sensation.

Leah quickly stepped inside, shivering from the cold. But the warmth inside the arcade quickly warmed her up. "So what do you want to do first?" She asked, turning to Ignis.

"Well,you wanna play street fighter?Its a two player game?"Ignis suggested as he looked over to a corner, seeing a tall, slim machine with two joysticks with each having their own set of buttons. He wasn't really fond of the game but still enjoyed it.

"Sure," Skylar agreed. "You'll have to teach me how to play though." She had never heard of the game before, so she hoped it wasn't too hard to learn.

Very soon, though, Hawthorne was able to tune out the incessant cracks of rock against wood. It was a frequent fate, and it was one he had practice with, no matter how much it irked him...But then Caligula neighed in warning, and instantly Hawthorne was on his feet, the movie and Dara temporarily forgotten. As large as he was, no one messed with the horse.
