Emily sighed."well..it sounds stupid. I couldn't take you ignoring me so I left school and a car ran a red light and hit me. I'm not that injured but my foot. That's it. They think I might have broke it so I don't know how I will be getting to school." She said

"Well..." Brent said thinking that he should of just talked to her! "I wish I would of talked to you sooner than" Brent said with a smile and a laugh

Emily laughed."would you mind driving me to school when I get released?" She asked. She gently took his hand and held it happily.

"Sure" Brent said softly. He smiled and then squeezed her hand

Emily smiled brightly." Really? Oh and I was wondering if sometime you will come to dinner. My brother said he missed you. It was also awkward with an empty chair." She said. She hoped she could have another chance with him.

"Sure, I'll come this time" Brent said smiling. I hoped that she was okay, and wasn't too badly hurt from the crash. "Are you sure you are okay?" Brent asked feeling bad for her and then looked down at her foot
