Artemis reached 'The hole', Eyes wide.
She stood around, feeling unsure of herself. She had her bag on her back and Apollo in her arms, wiggling restlessly. She started to make her way towards the entrance.
“To me, Fearless is not the absence of fear. It's not being completely unafraid. To me, Fearless is having fears. Fearless is having doubts. Lots of them. To me, Fearless is living in spite of those things that scare you to death.”

They're crazy out there." Tess smiled back at him, only to look up at her buddy, who had taken to scratching her shoulder with his nose. "Thank you, I tried to pick people who would strength the group rather than weaken, I'm sure we'll all make up for each other's personal weaknesses." She laughed softly at his compliment, smile growing as she looked over to Tohki. "Thank you again. I got him from a state auction when he was a colt and trained him from the ground up, to be honest, he's only had a saddle on him four times as he throws a fit with it and he's six... Good thing I prefer bareback anyway. Tohki's very pretty, much different from the stock QH I'm used to seeing."

Wanderlust_ wrote:"Yeah, I grew up on a ranch and we were breeding, training, buying and selling horses all the time. I've only had two really great horses in my life, the ones that you exchange pieces of your soul with." She spared a glance to Kal, leaning back just enough to kiss his forehead. "First one was this big, black Tennessee Walker gelding and he died the year before I got Kal, who is the other one and oddly enough he was only a year old. I'm almost certain that they have the same soul, Kal is just like Liggie was but with that classic Kiger twist to it all." Tessa laughed softly, shaking her head at herself. "I could talk about it for hours but I guess my main point is, Kal is the perfect horse for me and I'm pretty sure he'd jump through fire for me but that also comes from being the first and only human to earn his trust."
