{Kellen Kurt Killen

Kellen shoved the last of his things into a large garbage bag, already planning on leaving even if he didn't receive a text from some girl who had set up a place that he knew as 'the hole'. Kellen felt his phone go off, and knew it was her, knowing that no one else really had his number other then family and they were long gone. He slug the large garbage back over his shoulder, whistling for the dog that he knew as Brody. That dog had been there through basically everything in his life, and he would never left the dog. He licked his lips, briskly walking out to the small car, rusted and old. He opened the back passenger door with a creak, shoving the stuff inside and shutting it. He walked to the passenger door, opening it for the dog, "Come on Brody, we gotta go." He called to the Shetland sheepdog, seeing the brown, white, and a little bit of the black dog came running from the house, jumping into the car with pleasure. He smiled, shutting the door before getting into the driver side and driving off.
His eye followed the road like he knew exactly where he was going, and in a way, he knew. He pulled off the side of the road, driving down until he could see the compound. He turned off the crappy old car and got out, leaving the door open for Brody to come out. He walked to the passenger back door, grabbing his things and walking to the compound. The dog following shortly after him as he opened the gate with the device he had been given, glancing around. Him being the rather..loner type, he didn't stick around to really talk to anyone, making his way towards where he knew the bedrooms would be.
Quitting.

Scarlet had a large duffle bag open on her bed, the bag itself was already almost full and she had yet to pack things for Clove. The faint noise of news reports were coming from the radio in the living room of the house. The radio has been on for a hour or so and all Scarlet has heard was tragic new and that is the only reason she was packing up her belonging. Almost as if she was compelled Scarlet kept checking the phone in her right pocket of her jeans hoping to see a new text from the person so she had the go ahead to go the 'hole'. She was rewarded in the next minute when she felt her phone vibrate. Just as she suspected it was the text. "Alright Clove time to go!" She hollered to the huskie that was sleeping in the living room. Scarlet grabbed the bag and the keys to her car and walked briskly to the front door. "Come on girl" She said and walked outside not even bothering to lock the door or turn off the radio. She loaded her bag into the trunk and Clove into the back seat and she was off. Following the directions she had memorized arriving to the hole was not a problem. Scarlet parked in the garage and grabbed the bag and walked into the place she was going to call her home. "Time to find my room" She said before walking off Clove right on her heels.

Riley's black alice pack laid open on his bed. He stuffed the last bit of clothes into it and closed it tightly. He took two bags connected by a rope, which was lying on the floor, and made sure he had all of his horse supplies, or at least the ones he could fit inside the bags. His phone vibrated on his night stand and he walked over to it and picked it up. Reading the message carefully, he nodded his head and smiled a bit. He quickly closed the bags and slid his phone into his pocket. He slung the back pack over his shoulders and carried the two connected bags outside. He walked off the steps of the porch and over to his beautiful brown horse, Tohki, who was grazing peacefully in his large yard. He quickly took the horse's reins and pulled himself up onto Tohki's blanked back. He laid the bags in front of him on the Tohki's whithers, a bag hanging on each side, and trotted over to his mailbox beside the road, where a gasoline can sat on the fence. He reached down and picked it up and kept moving. Click clock, click clock, click clock... He listened to the repetitive sound of his horse's hooves until he reached the dirt road that lead to the compound. He stopped Tohki and dismounted, patting him on the neck. The mechanical doors slowly swung open and he walked inside with his horse, carrying the gasoline can in his left hand and a K-Bar knife in the other. As he walked inside he noticed there appeared to be a barn. A good place for Tohki to stay. He walked him over, still gripping the knife, and went inside. He saw another horse in the stall and raised and eyebrow. He shrugged and put Tohki in the one remaining stall. Tohki let out a loud whinney that seemed to echo through the giant compound. "Shh!" he said to his horse, still not sure of who was there.

Tessa went to greet the first boy to arrive, only to watch him pass by her. She tilted her head slightly but her smile didn't fall. "Well, hello to you too... Once you get settled, feel free to come find me. Oh and the bedroom closest to the outside wall is mine." She was sure he could figure that out seeing as her clothes were everywhere but something compelled her to say it anyway.
Shrugging to herself, she continued on the walk from her room to the garage area where she was sure everyone would be coming in from. "Oh! Hey there," she said to the girl with the husky, "I'm Tessa but you can call me Tess, Charlie, Harley or T. I'm good with all of it. Please make yourself at home and put weapons in weapon storage, no need to use them on each other." She laughed softly and was about to stay to chat with her until she heard the whinny. "Sorry. Be right back."
The sound wasn't wild enough to be Kal, so she was certainly concerned as to who it came from. When she saw the Quarter Horse and the boy with a can of gas and a K-Bar, she quirked a brow. "Everything alright in here? I don't think you're gonna be needing either of those things while in the building. Everything is pretty much bomb proof and it doesn't even exist if you're looking at it from the top. No one is here to fight anyone else in the building," she said with a gentle laugh.

[Oh my Grim, that font is quite light haha]

{Kellen Kurt Killen
"Notice that stiffest tree is most easily cracked, while the bamboo or willow survives by bending in the wind." -Bruce Lee.

Kellen lightly placed his things on the bed, one of the rooms that were left. He was never actually picky about where he was staying, as long as he had some where to sleep, he was staying. Her lightly patted the dog's head before leaving the room again. He didn't really know what this place had to offer, other then shelter from the chaos that seemed to rein over the world now. His eyes glanced around as he made his way out, looking around the large underground type cave thing.
It was rather large, having different places, A barn and indoor area, training area-which he'd most likely spend a lot of time-, a kitchen, garage, and food storage. Boxing had been a big part of his life, or high school life before all this happened. One of his favorite saying was 'you've got to breath', which could be interpreted in many different ways, but that saying got him through a lot, kept him calm and relaxed.
Licking over his lips rings, he made his way towards the training area. His eyes glanced around, he most defiantly could make use of this. Brody let out a bark, causing Kellen to quickly look over, which Brody shut up after that, sitting down and looking at him. Kellen smiled softly at the dog, crouching down to the brute's level and rubbing the Shetland's head softly.
Quitting.

Scarlet nodded at the girl who was talking to her and even gave her a small smile as a good bye when she had to run off for some reason. She picked up her bags again and kept walking in the original direction she was going. After getting lost once Scarlet found the bedroom hallway at last. Judging by the bags in the first and second bedroom she came to the conclusion that they were already taken. "This one seems free" She said when she looked in the third room. Walking inside the room and closing the door Scarlet threw her bag onto the bed and pulled out the rolled up piece of cloth that contained her knives. "Better go put these in the weapon room" She said to Clove who was sitting next to her and leaning against Scarlet's left leg. Turning around and walking out of her room Scarlet wondered where exactly the room was. Once Scarlet finally found the room she put her knives on an empty shelve hoping that no one would touch them except for her. Knelling down she pet the husky's head while she thought about what to do next.

{Haha, sorry. I got a darker one for you.}

Riley whipped around as the smooth voice of a young girl hit his ears. He clenched his knife and listened to her. He loosened his grip as he heard her gentle words. He sheathed his knife in the hard fabric pouch at his side and held up the gas can. "With no one to collect oil and make gasoline anymore, we're going to need as much as we can get. And conserve it." He looked at the girl. "Are you the one who asked a bunch of people to come?" he tilted his head curiously. He hoped it was, but as he asked he reached over to his horse and removed the bag and tack from him. "And is there a place to put horse stuff?"

[haha It's okay and thank you~]

Tess shook her head at him gently and leaned against the stall door of Kal. "No, we don't really need it. I promise. Trust me, I put enough money into this place that it will keep us alive for five years without turning anything off. The only thing we have to worry about is our lives when we're out of this place, which will have to happen. We'll have to hunt." She wrapped her arm around Kal's neck as he put his head on her shoulder. "Yes and yes, right behind you is the tack room."

Jake sat on his looking at old newspapers, he knew it may have seemed weird to keep those things and actually read over them. Though he thought it was so interesting everything the world thought was news worthy ‘firefighter saves cat’ ‘Wal-Mart speaking out’ ‘Phil Robertson talking his mind’ all things that seemed big to people. He read over those until he reached the last paper his family received, ‘stock market crash’.
It had seemed so weird, the whole situation, with his family gone or missing he had taken pride in waiting to go to ‘the hole’. Something he was curious about and sure glad he was chosen. He was starting to go crazy being coped up all by himself (well and his cat). He then heard a faint ‘buzz’ that seemed to be coming from under his stray cat, Mr.kitty, who had been lounging on an old newspaper. Mr.kitty had woken up with the sudden buzz beneath him, Jake had laughed and moved his cat slightly to pull the cracked phone from underneath him. He read the text and jumped up.
Jake already had a suitcase packed for the occasion and threw on a shirt as quickly as he could manage. He gathered up some other misilanious items and started to head out. He threw all of his things into his old red pickup truck and his cat neatly in the passenger seat. He drove carefully out of the subdivision after locking up the house as best as possible. When he finally made it he pulled off into the secluded area and parked by another vehicle. He grabbed his suitcase and cat and walked through, stopping at the first vacant one. He then put his stuff down and laid out on the bed, leaving the door open in case someone were to walk by.

((Scarlet is leaving the weapon room at the moment))

Once she was bored enough Scarlet walked out of the training room and leaned against the wall next to the door and looked down both ends of the hallway wondering which direction she should head in. "Well I guess we could go back to the room and unpack everything" She said to her dog before starting to walk in that direction. When she got maybe halfway there Scarlet stopped again hesitant to actually unpack when she was not for sure how long she would actually be living here. In her mind if she was not sure how long she would be here why should she unpack?
