(thanks!)
Teresa Hartman
Resa walked out of her house, waving to her sister, Penny, not telling her where she was going. Penny wasn't really trustworthy, she'd tell dad. Resa pulled her curls back and secured them in a low ponytail on the back of her head as she hopped down the steps and onto the sidewalk. She knew she'd probably find Sodapop at the gas station, but wasn't sure if she wanted to bother him. No one knew, not even her little brother Jake, about how much she'd been crushing on him. Sure, she hung around the Curtis brothers all the time. But she really wished she wasn't so shy and could actually talk to him alone without having mini freak outs inside or saying something totally stupid. At points she was sure he'd noticed, but at other times it was obvious he didn't know. Resa slowly rounded a corner, leaning against a lamp post a little ways away from the station.
