" Pony you want to here it?"

Ponyboy nodded, his eyes wide. "Yes. What's with the secret keeping?" He asked, glancing back at Two-Bit.

Wanita stood awkwardly behind in the doorway. She didn't want to interrupt.

" Pony this is hard to say. You know I don't think like this, you know I don't. Here I go," I took a breath. "Ok so Pony I've been think long and hard...."

Two Bit
" Soda just get out with it. It doesn't matter no ones guna hurt ya."

Sodapop
" Two Bit, I know, but it's hard to tell Pony. I've been thinking of.....leaving home for a bit."

Ponyboy let out a sarcastic laugh. "What? Why? Where are you going?" He asked, realizing he wasn't joking.

" Pony I don't know for sure. Don't tell Darry ok. He don't need to be worrying about me. He did say I was one kid brother he didn't need to look out for. Pony you know where low on cash and I'm guna be back. Don't worry I'm guna be back. I know it's hard to here,but it would be just you Darry and the gang. I'll be back Pony I'll be back. It's ok if your mad,sad or whatever. It's just I think its the best for us right now."

Two bit
I just looked at Soda when he told me it didn't seem so bad,but telling Ponyboy kinda made me feel weird.
" Hey why don't you go with Soda Pony."

Ponyboy looked at Two-Bit in disbelief. "Well...what will Darry think?" He asked. It was his way of stalling. He didn't know if he really wanted to go.

Wanita's eyes widened at Two-Bit's suggestion. But she didn't say anything. She slipped outside and leaned against the wall, crossing her arms.

" We'll um I....don't know. I'll go ask Darry." I walked in the gas station. And used the pay-phone. There was no answer. I though to my self , I'll leave Darry a note saying we're gone and we'll keep in touch. I walked outside," Pony, Darry said that you can go, but you got to listen to me and that we have to keep in touch. So are you going to come?" I felt so guilty after I told Pony.

Pony thought for a minute, examining his options. He had nothing here. He would have been happy to leave. He nodded and smiled. "Yeah, I'm goin'." He said quickly, without thinking.

Wanita heard what Ponyboy said and she couldn't take it. She started walking up the street, not knowing where she was going. She cried though.

Character name: Teresa "Resa" Hartman
Gender: Female
Age: 17, almost 18
Personality: Teresa is her name, but she'll punch out anyone who calls her that. "Resa" is pronounced just like Teresa but without the Te. Resa is a greaser, but she usually doesn't act like one. Her sister does, and her brother is only 14 and he's starting to. Resa can fight, but she usually isn't big on fights. She is reliable, and is usually a go-to girl for comfort or advice. Teresa really loves to be around people, but she doesn't always talk much. She loves chocolate and cold Pepsi on hot days.
Looks: She has long, dark, loose curls of hair that fall down to her mid back. Her eyes are a dark hazel, well hazel is the best way to define them. Resa's tall for a girl her age, and pretty thin. She has the build of a runner, she's used to running and enjoys it. Her smile is hard to get out of her, but it lights up her face.
History: Resa has to siblings, Penny and Jake. Her dad is usually away on business and their mom walked out on them ages ago. There is a shed in her backyard with a large beanbag chair and blankets if a member of the gang needs to crash there and she and Jake check every morning. She's grown up rather normal for a greaser, hanging out with the gang and her sister's boyfriend who isn't really a greaser or a Soc.
