She smiled a little and rolled her eyes, as if to say "Oh yeah, that's right, I forgot..." She kept her smile as she answered "Dallas Winston's little sister...yup."

"How can you..?" Cherry just stopped talking. "Um I gotta go Im hungry." She smiled awkwardly, while walking away. She turned her head slightly, smiling at them "It was nice to see you again Pony, and it was nice meeting you." Sherri turned, walking down the street.

Ponyboy yelled goodbye after her, but Wanita didn't say anything. They both turned away and started walking towards the house. "I don't think she likes me..." Wanita said with a gloomy tone. Ponyboy gave her a kiss on the cheek. "No, she's just a little freaked out..." he told her. Of course that meant nothing to Wanita. She didn't know that Cherry actually LIKED Dallas. As far as she knew, Cherry hates him, and by default, her too.

Sherri sighed, kicking a pebble as she walked. The girl looked almost exactly like him. She just wanted to cry. Even though its been awhile, now that she is out of school she has so much time to think about things.
