"Yeah, all I remember is the road. Then being pulled from the car." I ran a hand through my hair again, sighing. "I might be out soon, but I won't be able to be "normal" until later than that."

"Jack, take the couch." I smiled, patting his shoulder, "I'm fine with the floor." I closed my eyes for a moment, calming my breathing.

"The diner down the road makes the BEST milkshakes." I grinned, "C'mon, I'll get ya one."

kayla grins, then says, "I don't mind paying for my own." She pulls out a ten dollar bill. "I really, truly don't mind."

I looked back to the two of them, a frown n my face. "Did i mention there'll be a storm?... A big one.."

"A storm?" I sighed, crossing my good arm over my chest. "My parents haven't even come to see me. Now I know they won't because of the storm." I didn't know why that upset me so much, my parents didn't usually keep close watch on me. I kept my mouth closed and waited for the others to speak.

"Jack, take the couch." I smiled, patting his shoulder, "I'm fine with the floor." I closed my eyes for a moment, calming my breathing. I hugged my arms around my middle and held back the empty feeling.
