Summer shrugged. "I don't know, really," she said. She shoved her hand into her pocket and pulled out her phone. She went to her contacts and clicked new again. She typed Len and looked over at him "I already have Ren's number, what's yours?" she said.

"Okay, thanks," she said. She turned off her phone and slipped it into her pocket. Suddenly the bell went off. Summer placed her bag on her shoulder. "C'mon," she said.

Tori observed her schedule, it wasn't bad, at least she had art. She looked one last time at the schedule and started maneuvering around the crowded, endless halls. It's not like she wanted to, but of course her rotten step-mom suggested it, my dad seeing it as a good idea for me to "bond" with kids my age he said it would be wonderful.

Summer paced down the hall next to her friend. They rounded up to a corner where they had to split their separate ways. Summer gave him a friendly hug and waved goodbye, turning into her hallway and down to Mrs. Curry's classroom.
