Renee smiled. The days had passed slowly since she had Sophie but she was happy she could finally go home. She changed quickly before picking up the car seat and getting into the car.

I looked into the backseat at the two of them and smiled. "The two most beautiful women in the world," I said before driving away from the hospital.

I pulled into the driveway and opened the door for Renee and Sophie to get out. "Welcome home, Sophie!" I opened the front door to reveal dozens of baby balloons.
