Let's Go On an Adventure! (WIP)

Welcome! One and all to Brave Encounters, a place where all can find an activity to suit them, with uncountable activities, from working with gorillas for a week to skydiving, there's something for every one. An adventure is an exciting or unusual experience. It may also be a bold, risky, undertaking, with an uncertain outcome. For some people, adventure becomes a major pursuit in and of itself. This place is something akin to a a traditional summer camp that offers a welcoming, lively, safe, positive, and diverse environment where children gain confidence and build self-esteem while enjoying a fun-filled session in the outdoors. However, rather than running for just the summer, our camp sessions run throughout the seasons, spring, summer, autumn and winter. We feel the very first place our campers should feel at home is in their camp group. Bonding with other campers and their counselor is, after all, a big part of what camp is all about. Our sessions begin with the majority of activities offered within this group setting. We find this not only helps to create an environment where campers can try new and exciting activities that might otherwise seem intimidating, but it also insures that they are exposed to all the activities we offer. After our campers have been introduced to activities within the group setting, we begin to allow campers to choose many of the activities they wish to participate in. At this point they have had a taste of all our activities and we think campers should be able to focus on the ones that interest them the most.

Rules
- Tess' word is law. I shouldn't really need to say this but I will. (Make sure you read up on the New Rules too)
- Be nice. I have a right not to accept your character(s), even if other people are being immature, doesn't mean you have to follow them.
- No fighting in OOC. If I see any of this, it is to the gallows for you (not really, but three strikes and you are out)
- Try to post in full sentences, use full grammar and punctuation, and please, no chat speak. I don't understand it at all.
- There is no limit on what you post, but try and post over two lines, purely so it is easy for other people to reply to what you post. Yes, that does mean no

'He/she dropped all his/her books and picked them up and saw his/her crush and walked over to him/her and he/she asked him/her out'

- Please make your Out of Character (OOC) decipherable from your In Character
- Wait until your character has been accepted before posting, and please be patient.
- You cannot get away with murder in the camp, if you break the rules there is more of a chance you will be caught than there is that you won't be caught.

Camp Rules
- All campers will follow directions given by the camp director, team leaders, and counselors.
- Campers must stay with their team and assigned counselors at all times. This means all campers must get permission, and be escorted everywhere, including the restroom.
- Campers will show respect, and a positive, non-violent attitude to all fellow campers and staff.
- Campers will keep their hands and feet to themselves at all times. Pushing, shoving, hitting,
kicking, etc., will not be tolerated.
- Name-calling and foul language will not be tolerated.
- Valuables of any kind should not be brought to camp. Personal items should be labeled.
- Structured tennis shoes or sneakers must be worn at all times, except when utilizing the pool. No
crocks, flip-flops, sandals, slides or water shoes are permitted for other camp activities because such footwear inhibits safety and enjoyment of activities.
- No weapons of any sort (guns, knives, ropes, pocket knives, etc.) Threats, with intentions of harming oneself or others will not be tolerated.

There’s an inspiring range of activities to give you the opportunity for many exciting experiences. Strike out on snowshoes and cross-country skiis, hone your survival skills as you learn to build an igloo and whizz across the snow on a dog-sled. There's also the chance to try your hand at skiing, snowboarding and snowmobiling.
Day One - Arrival :: Today is a day for relaxing and unpacking. Not much adventure here, why not have a look around camp and see the activities we have to offer? Today is a day to get to know your fellow campers, so don't be shy! After a quick introductory to the members of staff it is time to eat and then time for bed! No midnight feasts, we have a busy seven days ahead of us.
Day Two - Showshoeing :: First off, your Group Leader(s) will give a quick lesson on how to put on snowshoes. You then have time to get used to this new way of walking. It really isn’t difficult at all and, although you might feel a little ungainly at first, you’ll soon discover that you can climb even a fairly steep slope with ease. With snowshoes you can go almost anywhere - which means you can get to places that skiers cannot. You set off along a trail through the forest, marvelling at the peace and beauty of the snowy landscape. And have a picnic before heading back.

Name; Hey, my name is Eliza. But my full name you ask? Elizabeth Jenny Jones. My Mom and Dad both decided on Elizabeth, when I was born, they thought it was a beautiful name, and you could shorten it too. Like for example, Eliza, Lizzy, Eli... Thats usually what people call me. Although, I introduce myself as Eliza.
Age; I was born on February the eighteenth, ninety-ninetysix. So that makes me seventeen, almost eighteen! Years young. I was born three weeks earlier then due date, and my mum was in labour for sixteen hours with me. I know. I took so long to come out! Horrifies me to think of what it would be like giving birth. Ugh, change subject!
Gender; I'm a guy... Are you serious? Isn't it obvious that I am a girl? Chick, female, femine creature, whatever you want to call it. I am not a guy.
Sexual Orientation; Sorry girls. I am straight, only straight. And I am certain that this will not change any time soon. Not that I have anything against gays, lesbians or bisexuals.

Personality; Eliza is a very fun, funky kind of girl, who is quite confident too and isn't afraid to speak what's on her mind. She is a very active kind of person, always getting involved with lots of different sporting activities. She hates being lazy and sitting inside on a nice day, she spends lots of time at the beach and around her friends. Eliza is also very social, she is always talking to people, before, during and after school, weather she be texting or properly speaking. She loves to hang out with her friends, play and dance on the lawn and likes to do random crazy stuff, but beyond those pretty eyes she can be quite the bad a$$. Agressive when she needs to be. She has a mild temper, but usually gets rid of the frustration by going for a run. You'll often see her out running with her headphones in, with a dog by her side, or rowing individually on the lake very early in the morning. She may not look it but, Eliza actually does have a brain. She is top in her maths class, and maths class only. This sometimes has lead to her tutoring people she really doesn't like.
Style; My clothing style.. I wear whatever is in my wardrobe. I usually wear a pair of Converse or Vans, I have a large collection of them. I like jeans and denim short-shorts, I have plenty of pairs of them. I have quite a few coats like so, and more then enough tops of all kinds! Tank tops, tee, sleeveless, long sleeve, crop top... etc. The list goes on and on. Then I also have a good amount of jumpsuits {shorts and t-shirt or tank top combined into one} for those summer days when I cants be bothered picking a whole outfit. I'm quite slack, I don't fuss too much of what I look like, no matter what your bound to be judged.
Reputation; Eliza usually fits in well with the popular crowd. Aka, preps.

Status; I'm single at the moment, available, free. Whatever you wanna say I am.
Crush; Well, I'm not too sure.
Boyfriend; Because a guy would really date me. Hah I don't think so.
Fiance; Hell no!
Ex's Well there was this one time, which never happened.

My big fat family; Me and my family are, what I think, real close. I have five brothers, three of them are eighteen, Philip, Kendall and Brooklyn. Then my other two brothers are twelve years old. They are twins, Chai and Wade are their names. As you have probably recognized is that I don't have any sisters. Yeah, well I don't. I am the only girl in my family, next to my Mom, Michelle. I also have a Dad, called William, but most people call him Bill. So we are all one BIG family. We are quite a busy house hold, but there is always down time near the end of the day when the sun is setting, to just chill.
Pets; Eliza has a puppy called Tiarn and another puppy called Ruby. Love them both to pieces!
