I smiled at cam's laugh, his laughter was always contagious to others around him. "mmm spaghetti."I said handing her my plate, "Well I sure have had an interesting day."I said trying to make conversation. I slid my hand back into cams lacing our fingers between each other. I glanced over at cam whom seemed to be enjoying being around his family, I felt a little ashamed that my family was nothing like this.

I noticed she looked a little surprised that we lived in a decent house, "Well you can tell that not all criminals are poor."I said with a half smile. Truth be told my father had purchased this house before he left us, mother still made good wages although it wasn't the same without him. Sometimes he would send postcards often with his 'new' children and trophy wife as the main focus of the photo. I always hid those from my mother so she wouldn't hurt at seeing them. We both got out of the car "Well care to walk me to the door?"I asked offering mel my hand.

Once at the door, her heart pounded and she must have looked like a deer in headlights.

I smiled and watched everyone fixing their plates before getting my own. I wad so grateful to have all the ones that I love sitting with me and enjoying this time. "It had been an interesting day but at least it was a good interesting" I said ad I held out laced hands close. Before long everyone was in deep conversation about the baby except me and Jennifer. "So tomorrow we have to sign for the apartment. And move stuff in then possibly settle down and get things ffor the dog" I say. I had forgotten the name we picked out.
