I sigh and watch him leave. I then walked back to my house to see that my brother and his wife was there. I jogged in with the coffee. "Hey guys" I say

"Or," Adam said. "Maybe.." He said, tickling her.

Emily started to laugh. " Adam. " she said between laughs.

"Emily." He said, starting to laugh a little, too. He continued to tickle her.

" I missed you." She said as she continued to laugh.

Adam stopped tickling her. "I missed you, too," He said.

Emily smiled." Look Adam. I really like you. It's ok if you don't feel the same way but I thought you should know." She said softly as she tried to hold his gaze but looked to the ground.

"It's ok," He said. "I don't know how I feel, though. I like you. But you're my friend.."
