Emily laughed. Then she welcomed him inside. " Adam.. So how are you?" She asked sweetly as she sat down next to him on the couch.

"I'm terrible. I hate seeing you. I hate my family and everyone around me," He joked. "I'm great. you?"

Emily rolled her eyes. " pretty good since I'm actually talking to you for the first time in forever." She said softly with a smile.

Adam nodded. "I just came back from Starbucks and saw a girl," He said. "She seemed kinda mad at me."

"Well, I hope you have time," He joked. "Stupid reason. She was probably mad in the first place. I laughed at her a bit, and she came over to me furious. Funny thing is, we live on the same road."
