He smiled and then looked back a the ground. He out his hands back in his jacket pockets. "they wanted a super smart kid I guess. But ive never really had a social life so it didnt help me much. Just that i know lots of math, and other stuff like that. Liam smiled. He saw the pet store close by. "so what are you thinking of getting?" he asked.

[Echo Base]

Jinx looked at him " Well i am really bad at math" she said with a sigh then looked at the pet store coming up. "I love dogs... So thats what im thinking about getting..." She said giving him a small, friendly smile. she out her hands out to the side.

"I may be good at it, but doesn't mean I like it." he said smiling. "Nice. I like dogs." he smiled and opened the door for her. They walked in and he saw all the pets.

[Echo Base]

Jinx smiled when he opened the door for her, "Thank you" she said looking at him before seeing all the animals. She loved animals and they made the old childlike Jinx come out of her. She had to go around and pet every single thing that was just compleatly adorable. She always avoided the spiders because she was deathly scared of them.

Chance read his reply and bit her bottom lip lightly as she thought then responded back," Okay. Soldier's leaving for camp in a week or so."

Chance forced a smile. "So...coffee or more shopping?" she asked.

He leaned back. "Anything is good with me." He replied. "Honestly I haven't had so much fun in a LONG time." He smiled.

Chance smiled happily and put her phone away. "Shoes." she decided and led him to a store. She rifled through several boxes then pushed him down onto a seat and handed him the box. "Try them on."

Liam smiled and saw the look in her eye. "so we have to go see every animal. Because if we don't I will have withdrawals from animals." he said with a fake-serious look. He smiled be started to walk around. "so where should we start in this huge store?" he asked.

He did as he was told but they didn't fit. "I have embarrassing small feet." He admitted.

Chance smiled and quickly swapped them out for the right size. "Better?" she asked with a smile.
