Honesty nodded to him before laying her head down on the concrete. "Are you a homeless person?" she asked curiously. "I mean you are out here all alone and you are cold and you look like you have been abandoned..." She looked up at him with concern. If he was homeless, she wouldn't run away or get scared, she wouldn't even be surprised.

Ace walked with him out to the parking lot. "She told me you served the country and you're about to be deployed in about a month or two. Are you going to take her with you?," he asked him curiously. Ace jumped into the truck and waited for soldier to get in the car also.

He was slightly surprised at how straight forward she was, and decided to just answer truthfully, as long as she didn't go digging to deep like the last girl. "Maybe, yes, I'm not drunk or anything though if that's what your worried about." He said gruffly.

Soldier climbed in and turned on the truck. "It's impossible to take family with you into a war zone and even if I could I wouldn't put in that kind of danger." He explained as he carefully backed out and turned to watch the road. "I'm sending her to our aunt's house. She's our only relative so I have no choice since Chance is only seventeen."

"I'm not worried one bit..." Honesty sighed and looked at him. "even if you were drunk," She added with a slight forced smile. She took off the jacket Soldier gave her earlier and gave it to him. "Here, that jacket you're using doesn't look too helpful," She smiled slightly at him before sitting in the grass.

He held it for a moment, considering, before giving into the cold that he felt physically and mentally. "Thanks, your a first." He informed her and put the jacket on, grateful for the extra warmth. "So, from what I've heard from you and a couple others, people with homes don't sound like they care they have them." He stated.

"You're welcome, I'm glad to help another human being..." Honesty smirked at her comment before pondering his statement for a few minutes. "Well, I care that I have a home and glad that I have one, but....... I just don't want to live there anymore I guess you could say. I mean, my parents never understand me and they never care about me. But yes, I care that I have a home...?" She didn't really know how to answer to that statement.....

He nodded. "Good enough." Was all he said before standing to stretch out, knowing he wasn't getting any sleep anyway. "We'll, um, thanks, for, the jacket, and the company." He finally said giving her one of his rare small smiles.
