She ran her fingers through her soft brown hair and walked down the road, kicking at a rock as she hummed a song. Skylar lifted her hood up and pushed her hair into it then stuck her hands into her warm pockets. Her sweatshirt advertised her favorite NFL team, the Dallas Cowboys. It was navy blue and a sparkly white, pretty ordinary but Sky didnt really care. When her legs tired out after walking for about 45 minutes, she laid down in the soft sweet-smelling grass. Skylar reached her arms up, brushing her finger-tips against the short blades of grass. She sighed softly to herself and looked around. Her dog Ace sat obediently at her side, pushing his head into her face after a few silent moments. Sky giggled and petted the top of his head, pinning his soft ears against his head.
