[Kiraeagle]

"It's just an idea Lukas." I said, sitting on the edge of his bed. I glanced at JJ nervously and mouthed, "He isn't always like this-mood change?" ALoud I said, "But Lukas, if you were ill normally then the medicine would have worked."

[zugzwang.]

JJ nodded. "I think there is a hospital a few blocks down the road. Lizzi, why don't you come with me to the hospital and see what we can find there? I found a dog earlier that can stay with Lukas." she offered, not wanting to leave her own dogs behind. "Just try to stay alive until we come back." she directed her comment to the sick boy

"Erm okay." I said hesitantly. Glancing over at Lukas hesitantly, "You're not alergic to dogs or anything though are you?" I asked, putting my hand on his shoulder but then it occured to me that I might be a bit pratronising.

» Lukas turned to look at them. "Use to have my own dog" he said quietly. He turned his attention back to the screen. "Ill be fine" he said more loudly. "Just worry about getting yourselves there and back" he said and shrugged. The game started loading a new map so he turned to look at them. He flashed a reassuring smile.

JJ let the large dog she found in the house off of his leash. He ran over to Lukas and laid down on the floor next to him. "Lets go then." she said to Lizzi before walking out of the room and out onto the street. she waited patiently with her dogs for Lixxi to come out so they could go to the hospital

[karasu,]

» Lukas looked over at the dog. "You hungry?" he asked as he paused the game. The dog looked at him and Lukas got up and padded to the kitchen. The dog trailed after him and sat down and looked at him. Lukas got some turkey meat and gave him some. He felt his headache coming back but he ignored it. He sat on the counter and drank some coffee as he watched the dog eat. It felt weird being in his house alone.

I closed the door behind me and ran down the five small steps into the garden. I smiled and JJ and said, "Hey JJ, sorry I took so long. I was.." I failed to find an excuse and shrugged. "So erm yeah..Where's your hospital?"

[zugzwang.]

JJ nodded. "Its just over here." she said pointing right to a tall building that was about 5 blocks away. "I don't know how much stuff they have but its better than nothing." She said nonchalantly. She turned and began walking towards the hospital

"They'll probably have okay stuff." I said, reasuring myself as much as JJ. I could see what I guessed was the top of the hospital where JJ had pointed.
