Jackson: I chuckled again stuffing my hands into my pockets. I began to step on some leaves myself and smirked. "You're right. They're just so tempting." I said looking at Allison. It was nice to have some fun with all the hell going on around us.

I smiled, "Don't worry about it, I have this place to eat from" I say and smile a little. I went to the door to make sure it was locked. I boarded it up and turned to her, "Sorry, I need to make sure no one can get in, plus its getting dark" I say. I toss her the key, "Here keep it, its a spare. You might need it someday" I say and shrug.

"Okay, if your sure." I said, shrugging. I watched him board up the door, my eyes following everything. "Oh, okay." I said, catching the key as he spoke. "Thanks." I turned away to put it in my bag. I yawned and pulled the blanket up. "Night!"

Lukas

I looked at her and chuckled. "Night" I say. I sit in one of the bar chairs and look at the diner. It used to be so nice. I sigh. I know I wont be able to sleep for a while. I take my weapons off of me and put them on a table and I walk around the dinner like a lost soul. I sit down and start to drum my fingers on a table then realize that I"m fidgeting. I stop and look at Lizzi. "Sorry" he muttered.

Allison giggled as she watched Jackson give into the temptation of the colorful leaves. She smirked and cut Jackson off to step on a leaf in front of him, she looked up at him to see his reaction.

"Mm?" I murmered when Lukas spoke,"Wha?"!The rest of my sentence ws cut short when I rolled over in my sleep. I curled up, undisturbed.

I laughed. "Goodnight" I whisper. I walk into the room and bought out a candy bar and a couple of blankets and pillows. I covered her up with another blanket because it got cold in there. I went and sat on a both and got my "Bed" all comfy. I sat there for a while watching a light flicker off and on. I sighed, id need a new light bulb soon. It finally ran out and the whole place gets dark. I sigh and roll over and slowly feel myself drift to sleep.

JJ nodded. She looked up at the hatch and saw some light peaking through. "Hey." She said. "Its morning." She walked over to her bag and threw in everything she needed. "Sorry we didn't get any sleep last night but we should go out now and see what we can find. I saw a house yesterday. Its about an hour walk from here. I want to see whats in it and then we can come back."

Brandon

Brandon looked at Slater puzzled. "Why would you go at dusk? Dude, thats like suicide!"

"Yeah." Kara nodded, "I went on a scavenging run yesterday before I left the auto shop. I didn't find much, just a case of ammo and a candy bar. Supplies are getting pretty scarce out there so we oughta scavenge for all we can today and make it last until... well... until we get out of this whether it's a formal evacuation, an escape or... death."

Jackson: I scowled at her and made a pouty face. "Hey that was mine!" I said still pouting. I saw a bright orange curled up leaf in front of Allison and I stepped on it. "Payback sucks." I said smirking.

I woke up fairly early, with faint sunlight in my eyes. I shifted over, glancing at my watch. 7:24 am. I groaned, letting myself fall back onto the blanket. "I hate mornings." I mumbled to myself, putting the pillow over the back of my head.
