The apocalypse has come and gone leaving the survivors devastated and alone. Very rarely can you find groups of friends and family. Everyone is completely and utterly alone. The wars and disasters have left nothing but rubble and ashes. The majority of the worlds population was killed off by fires, earthquakes or bombs. Government systems have been abolished. The worlds population has gone down to a mere 6 million with most spreading across North America and Europe.
Outbreaks or a contagious disease the survivors have come to know as The Tox. It is rumoured that there is a cure for The Tox but no one is brave enough to find it. The Tox virus is growing. killing everyone in its path. It will not stop. Victims suffer, turning into live zombie like creatures until they are killed or die of the virus itself when they become to sick to hold up. Animals are affected as well. Only they don't die. They are turned into monsters. Mutants of what they once were. They are the enemy. They can turn you.
Your family has been taken by The Tox. You are alone. Will you find the others and help find the cure, or let The Tox take you as well...

Ripped skinny jeans and a white faded Beatles t-shirt with a leather jacket and combat boots. Her blonde hair is usually down but occasionally she will put it up in a messy ponytail. Also, around her neck she wears her fathers dog tag that he had in the war. It was sent to her when he was killed.
History:
Her father died fighting in the war against the mutants and Tox victims. The soldiers were eventually killed. JJ's mother abandoned her and her family when she was 7 leaving her father to care for JJ and her brother.
When JJ's father went off to the war, she was forced to look after her brother by herself. They lived in a small shack in the caves of rubble but eventually their three dogs came back turned, bit her brother and infected him. She didn't have the heart to kill him so when he was sleeping, she was forced to leave. locking him in the shack to turn.

Other:
She has been scared of a relationship since her family died. She is afraid to fall in love with someone and have them taken away. It would take a very convincing person to make her believe she can find love.

Typical Clothing: On an average day, vinnie would wear a black vest under a light grey jumper, paired with black skinny jeans and vans shoes. Her hair is blonde, dyed pastel purple and usually tied up in some way or other.
History: Vinnie comes from a broken home. Her parents, well, probably shouldn't have been allowed to keep her for as long as they did. Her mother was an alcoholic, and her father had... Well lets say anger problems and a history of violence. Of course that only went on until she was thirteen, the age at which she witnessed both of her parents turn, and to her surprise she was actually saddened by the loss, so she fled from the home looking for any other survivors.
Personality: Vinnie is a quiet girl, preferring now to keep to herself rather than to form a relationship with anybody else. That sort of thing scares her now, what with The Tox taking everyone she once loved away from her. She does talk to people, just not alot. She also has issues with anxiety, where in certain situations she'd just break down and cry, or run away. Really, she would rather curl up in a ball and die.
Weapons: Butterfly Knife
Piercings/Tattoos/Scars: Vinnie has the word 'Stay' tattooed over her right wrist in a cursive font.
