I giggled. "Some nerd trying to be friendly. Ha! He should know by now that cheerleaders and nerds are simpatico at the moment," I said, my eyes narrowing as I watched the nerd going down the hall. "I mean, who does he think he is? The President?" I looked at the guy walking with him. I rolled my eyes.

I frowned as the girl walked away to one of her cheerleader friends, laughing. "I was trying to be nice," I said frustratedly. I knew everything. Yet, I didn't know why this girl was so mean. 'Oh yeah,' I thought. 'Shes a cheerleader.'

I nodded with a giggle urging to get out. I finally burst out in laughing. "I know, they think they can just come up and talk to us. I mean like, duh, do you even know who we are?" she asked with an edge of mocking in her voice.

I sit in the hall way, a book in my hand and a spiced latte in the other. I sit and close my eyes, my manicure tapping out the rhythem to a song I don't know. I open my eyes and look around the nearly empty hallway.

Gilbert Steensen

Gilbert smiles as he walks down the hallway, looking proud and confident in himself. He was usually positive and self-confident. He had his heart's content. This was his final year, and he would darn right make the most of it. He sits down at a table, waiting for his brothers and looking around. "Where are those idiot brothers of mine..." He mutters, drinking a soda.

Aleksander Steensen

Confident like his brother, Gil, Aleksander walks down the hallway proudly, even though he was a freshman. He didn't know about populars and jocks and nerds and all of that. He just saw the high school as an education enterprise. He was just so excited to be there. He waves at everyone he sees, the fla-flap of his sleeve making him smile wider.
