Bryce had been late to class for the 3rd time today sense he wanted to make sure Carson got out of school grounds alright and didn't have any troubles. He was worried for her, she hadn't been herself sense math and she seemed fine just a few hours before when she was getting ready for school. Pushing the thoughts out of his mind he walked into his class late ignoring the teacher when they had asked him why he was late to class. Sitting down he sat behind the head cheerleader, Lucy. He had always had a crush on her that he kept a secret because he knew Will was dating her and he wasn't the type of guy to break up a relationship so he could date a girl.

Lucy looked up when Bryce opened the door of the class and slipped in the seat behind her. After finishing the questions she was supposed to finish and wrote down a small paragraph she had to and then decided to do something. She turned around with a half-concerned and half-amused look in her face, wanting to know why he was late. "Hey, why are you late?" she whispered softly at him so the teacher wouldn't hear her.

Bryce just smirked at her trying to catch up. Then when he was sure the teacher's attention was off him he leaned foward, "Carson wasn't feeling very well after math, I don't know what happened, but I needed to make sure she got off school ground without getting caught." He explained to her whispering back to keep the teacher's attention off him.

When Lucy turned around to keep talking to Bryce the teacher told her to keep working. She just rolled her eyes and finished her work before turning around once again. "You're a really good brother." she said and remembered her own siblings who passed away when she was about seven or eight years old. "If I was Carson I'd be like, really lucky." Lucy added with a small shrug.

Bryce's smirk turned into a innicent half smile, "Well I do my best." He told her shrugging his right shoulder. "She doesn't always have the best of luck and she deserves to at least be some-what happy." He explained leaving out the part of being that over protective brother that doesn't really let anybody near here that is even kinda bad for her.

"Well, at least that is better than having a step-brother who never talks in school and barely talks at his own house." Lucy said shooting a glance at Sam, her step-brother, who was sitting next to the window in the furthest spot of the class. Away from her, Lucy supposed. "So do you have practice after school? I mean, as we girls have cheerleading I suppose you guys also have something, right?" she asked.

"My summer was extremely crazy. I did some really cool thing. I went to England for a few weeks. Then I went to North Carolina for some college visits." Said Emily as she looked at Matt with a big smile on her face. "The beach was awesome."
