I smiled back at her and got into the truck, leaning back and closing my eyes.

I smiled and drive to the ranch i pull up to the ranch house and park the truck as your eyes are closed i lean over and kiss you and smiled

I felt a kiss on my lips and I open my eyes and smile at you and kiss you back. I get out of the truck and I glance at the ranch. It made me miss home, since my grandparents had a ranch of their own that they had for over 50 years and I knew I could go visit but I never got the chance to.

I suddenly grabbed her roughly and moved my face closer to hers. " now look, I will never let Damon hurt you ever again! He won't even look at you, you hear?!" I didn't mean to snap at her, I was just angry.

I looked at Hayden shocked, and pulled away from him and backed away. I walked away from him and sat on the steps of the house and put my face in my hands and cried.


"Wow! I love it! It looks really nice!" I told her, admiring the ranch house and the surroundings.

Trinity smiled " my da....." she sighed " never mind um " she gave a nervous giggle " your welcome to leave her wih me i leave here alone "

" damn it Hayden!" I scowled at myself then kicked the wall. " why do I always snap at people?!"

I bit my lip and sighed, running my hands through my hair. "I don't know Trinity love...I have to help take care of my mama, since Ashly always works her butt off to help pay for the bills and everything." I told her.


I lifted my face from my hands and ran my hands through my hair and glanced at the ground. I let out a sigh and stood up. I opened the front door and looked over at Hayden and then disappeared inside the house. I leaned against the door and hung my head in shame. I winced in pain from the movement and rubbed my neck with my hand and let out a sigh. I didn't know what else to do, but either go out there and talk to him or just stay away from him. I closed my eyes and turned to the door and opened it slowly.
