Summer Get Away (Not accepting)

"It's okay. I don't remember them that well, I was pretty young when it happened and I guess I just got over it." Emma shrugged and then forced a smile.

We both didn't know what to say, so we sat silently. I took a sip of my drink and then sat on the railing.

Emma didn't even know why she had mentioned her siblings but anyway it seemed to come with an awkward silence. She finally broke it as she spoke, and looked at Jacob and Ashly. "Let's go to the beach?" she suggested.

[Fenway&Denver]

"Sure! Wanna go Jake?" I asked him, getting ready to head inside to change into my swim suit. He nodded his head in agreement.

Emma bounced on her feet and followed Ashly into their room so she could get changed, too. She slipped into her colorful and favorite bikini and left herself with her top on, and released her hair -which was before up into a ponytail- and her curls fell on her back.

I put on my favorite red and black bikini with a pair of cut off shorts. I pulled my long slightly wavy hair into a messy bun and my black sunglasses. I walked outside, and saw Jacob already waiting for us out on the porch.

Emma followed Ashly outside as she grabbed her own reddish black sunglasses and then closed the door to the house behind her. She walked up to the sand and let out a smile and a chuckle as she waved at Jacob and Ashly to hurry.

The two of us hurried after Emma, my hair falling out of it's messy bun and falling behind me. Jacob ran past me and took off his shirt and dug his toes into the sand.

Emma started running until she got to the water. She took off her top, leaving her just with her bikini, and she slowly entered the water. She shivered but still as the weather was so hot it was nice to have something cold.

I stopped at the edge of the water and watched as Jacob walked into the water, letting it wash over him. I hesitated at first, but I finally managed to inch into the water, bit by bit.
