Summer Get Away (Not accepting)

Eric smiled at her as they were buckled into the roller coaster. A voice over the speakers spoke of the dangers and the rules of the ride. He ended his speech with a thank you and with that the car began to tick up the track.

"I live in a very small town in North Carolina. I live with my mom, dad, and grandmother. My grandfather died three years ago so my parents offered for her to live with us. My father is gone a lot for business but whenever he returns he brings us our fvorite sweets and them we all go out as a family. I have no other siblings. I was going to have a little sister but my parents got in a car accident when I was six and Rainbow didn't make it. I was the one who wanted her name to be Rainbow. My mom went through a period of depression and with my father always gone I grew very attached to Eric. He kept me safe. One day my father brought home my mother's family who live on the other side of the country. They stayed for a month and after that life seemed to go on like it did before. We were a happy family again. The only thing I want in life is a relationship like my parents," Kasey told him, telling him a bit of her story. If he wanted to know more he could ask. She told him quite a lot as it was.

"You scared?" Honesty asked, looking at Eric. A smile grew perfectly on her lips as she gripped her hands firmly on the bar in front of her.

"Neve-" Eric began but the 'r' was lost as they reached their first drop. Eric began to scream joyfully, his hands in the air, as they hit sharp turns.

Honesty started to scream with a hint of joy. This roller coaster was fun! Randomly, she started to laugh at herself for no reason at all.

Eric heard her laughing for no reason which made him laugh. She was an odd duckling but he found it cute.

Will couldn't help grinning a bit, though her story was still sad and he somehow pitied her because of everything she had been through, one part made him smile. "You wanted to name your little sister Rainbow? Your parents would have named her that?" He asked with a weak smile.

"We all called her Rainbow, but I have a feeling they weren't going to name her that," Kasey said, giggling. She looked up to meet his eyes and saw something that confused her. He pitied her. "You shouldn't pity me. I had a wonderful childhood. Sure we had a few rough patches but we always made it through as a family."

"Yes, I know Kasey, but seriously your life is so... complicated compared to mine. I lived in a dream. And honestly... the worse thing that ever happened to me was my mother's death. Before that, it was not getting a girl. Can you imagine the life I lived? I appeared in TV. I was in several movies as an extra. And I can't help pitying you and Eric- yes, Eric too- because you've been some tough moments and-" he shrugged-

"You were on television?" Kasey asked, incredibly interested in his life now. "For what?" She added curiously.

Honesty closed her eyes, putting her arms up. She absolutely loved the feeling of the wind blowing against her. A big smile grew on her face as she felt the air. Then, some giggles escaped the pretty girl.
