He just started talking as the tears slowly made their way over his cheeks, and he silently cursed himself for being like that. "My mother..." he mumbled. "She died seven months ago because of cancer, qnd she was just saying God was claiming her and we didn't have to mourn her, because every time we needed her, we could just talk to the starts and she'd be listening." His voice broke.

Emily whispered" Ashly you an trust me."she said with a wink. Then she looked around the room to see if Jacob had come back yet but he was still in the kitchen. Emily smiled she was so happy she had then for her friends and everything. She thought about all of the great times Jacob and her have had together so far. She just never wanted it to end.

I smiled at Emily before whispering," He is really ticklish along his feet, and his neck." and then reached for my snack. Jacob came back and eyed the two of us, wondering what we were up to.
