Emma forced a smile and nodded at Ashly and Jacob."Yep, I'm a Brit" she said with a small shrug. People always said that the accent was awesome and that they'd love to live there but she never actually understood it. "Actually it's a really normal place, though you have to see the rain there and the clouds. They seem to never get away." she said with a smile. Emma then realized she had to add something. "Anyway I moved from England when I was eleven so I basically lost the British accent already."

Ivan

I walk to the beach house, smiling a little and humming. My pets, Ravis and Peter, were carrying my suitcases and their suitcases. I didn't want to carry anything, so I made them do it. Like normal people. "Ravis. May I have my coat?" I ask, stopping to let Ravis dig through the suitcase for my light coat. It was too hot for this one that I was wearing.

Ravis

Oh dear, ooooohh dear... His coat isn't here... I panic a little, frowning and looking back at him. "It's not here..."

" When I moved from Russia when I was 12, I've lost my accent but yet I can still speak fluent Russian. My mother though still had her accent. But I plan on visiting England soon." I said over my shoulder and searched for the first aid kit.

"That's cool. I just speak English, some spanish and basically a few sentences of French because of school." Emma said with a shrug and then grinned. "And you are from here or did you also came from somewhere?" Emma asked turning around and her eyes landed on Jacob.

" I speak English, Russian, little bit Italian." I said. " I could never understand French..." I said shaking my head.


I heard Emma ask me a question and I said, "I'm from L.A California where I met Ashly. But my parents are both from Italy and moved here way before I was born. So I was born here in the United States."

Emma nodded in acknowledgement to make Jacob know she had heard him. "I would love to live somewhere forever. I mean, not moving anywhere, mostly because it's kind of difficult the whole change and stuff." She chuckled softly. "Anyway I like it here, more than in England, I mean." Emma shrugged and smiled.

" I agree. I like it better here than in Russia. Sometimes I miss it there but I'm happy to be here in the United States. I really do love L.A though it's too hot for me." I said as I reached for the first aid kit and pulled myself onto the counter. I opened the container and searched for a simple bandage and some cleaning alcohol. I opened the bottle and bit my lip as I poured some on my toe. It stung and I had to bite my tongue from saying anything. I wrapped the bandaid around my toe and put the bottle back. " Oh that hurt..." I said getting down from the counter and putting the first aid kit back.

Emma nodded slowly and seemed to understand. Los Angeles had always a bright sun to warm everything up and sometimes even she got bored of it. Anyway she loved the sun and she also loved the beach. "If you haven't done that, as you said it was okay, it would hurt more now." Emma pointed out smiling. "It's better if you take care of the wounds right away before they get infected and stuff like that." she added quietly and still with a grin. She passed a hand through her curly chocolate-brown hair once again trying to leave it away from her face.
