Tessa glanced at Jacoby "Hey, um, this is Alex, my mom. She dropped by for a bit of a surprise visit. Alex, this is Jacoby."

NO problem" she said blushing "Im Jo by the way" she said nervously

Jacoby looked at her nervously before coming out of the kitchen

Alex smiled, waving "Hi! How's everything been? God, it's been sooo long since I was here last."
"You mean your only other time coming here? That was a month ago." Tessa laughed a bit
"Hey, kiddo, a month is a long time. And look at you guys! Tessa, your hair is definitely curlier, Emily's taller, and Jake's turned into quite the handsome young man."
Tessa sighed, blushing "Like I said, it's only been a month."

"You're still taller! So, you guys ready for the big apple? Partying, meeting New York guys." she sing-songed, dancing a bit
"Oh my gosh, Alex, that's definitely not going to be going on." Tessa muttered "Especially considering half of us are straight guys."

"And you won't believe how amazing the hotel is!" Alex cooed, bouncing on the couch inbetween Emily and Jake "It's the best I could get in short notice, but definitely does not disappoint."
