Jude is very quiet and reserved unless he is around his friends. While with his friends, he isn't afraid to speak his mind or be himself. He is a very friendly person but usually is too shy to talk to anyone new. On the rare occasions when he gathers up enough courage to talk to someone new, he isn't afraid to talk to someone from outside his own classified clique. Yet, despite that he is quiet and reserved, he tries to live everyday like it's his last. Jude likes to have fun and laugh rather than mope around and be depressed.

Jude was born in Leipzig, Germany when his parents were about seventeen. His dad was from America and his mom was from Germany. When his mother found out she was pregnant with Jude and told her boyfriend that he was the dad, they decided to elope. They lived happily, almost like a fairy tale romance in Germany for four years before moving to America.
Around the age of five, Jude's parents began having issues. They started seeing a marriage counselor and leaving Jude at a daycare after school. That is when he met his best friend Derek Sutherland; the two boys found out they had a lot in common, starting off with their parents having trouble and going to marriage counselors. Over the next couple of years, the two only children in their family became like brothers.
Jude was ten, Derek was eleven. They were hanging out together outside of an ice cream parlor down the street from their houses. Jude had been a lot quieter than usual the past couple of weeks since his mom had become a drug addict and his dad a drunk. "Why're you cryin?" Derek had demanded. Jude explained his parent's situation, stopping to wipe the tears from his face every few minutes. "It's okay, you don't have to be so emotional," Derek had said in an attempt to help his friend. "My mom just left my dad in the middle of the night last week and I'm not crying."
"No, mom! For the hundredth time, I'm not gay," Jude repeated in exasperation for what felt like the twentieth time. He had changed a lot, much like his parents. First he had started only wearing black or really dark colors. He had even cut his arm up a few times (which were now pale scars) but blood made him feel faint and sick, so he stopped that after a while. Then he had just stopped talking to anyone but his friends; and if he talked to either of his parents, it always turned into a fight. "But you're putting on eyeliner and eyeshadow," his mom protested. Jude sighed, on the brink of screaming. "So what? Makeup is makeup! Just because a guy wears makeup doesn't make him gay!" His mom considered that before asking him, "Well then, are you a drag queen?" Jude clenched his fists tight at his sides. "No, I am not a drag queen!" He was so frustrated he thought he might break out into tears. That was one thing Jude hated about himself, he was so emotional and sensitive.

Standing at 5' 4" and weighing 100 pounds even, Jude is really just sort of. He has dark green eyes, dark and astounding like pine trees in the late evening, and dark brown hair with magenta spread about in random placement. He is very fair toned with scars covering his arms from when he went through the stereo-typed emo kid stage. He usually wears black eyeliner and maroon or some shade of purplish-red eyeshadow all around his eyes. He has a snake bite on his bottom lip and his ears are gauged with 00 gauges. He wears pretty much only black or just dark colors and long sleeves or ratty and old hoodies over short sleeve shirts, pants, and a pair of combat boots.
