Kaya smiled. "Thanks, Chey. Thanks all of you." she spoke, looking at all of them. Then at Jacob. She smiled, and there was a twinkling in her eye. Then she turned around, and saw a blonde haired girl chasing a dog- running towards our house. I pointed at it, and tapped Chey's shoulder.

I chased Rain nor getting close enough to grab her finally I just sat down giving up on getting my dog and began to cry.
(She does this a lot before she likes you)

I saw the girl crying and felt a wave of sympathy. I ran down to her. I said, "Hey. I'm Kaya, who are you?" sweetly.

Chey grinned softly and turned around when Kaya nudged her she studied the girl and walked back on the front porch she raised a eyebrow and crossed her arms

I jumped to the sound of a voice "Go away, I don't know you" I yelled and moved away from her getting up and moving back a few more steps. Rain was still barking closer to the house so she would be a while I wiped my tears and all of a sudden looked mad for no reason.

Kaya felt hurt as she walked away over to the dog. She grasped her collar and led her over to the girl quietly. "Here's your dog," she said in a hurt voice and then turned and walked away

Chey followed Kaya back to the house after the kid had her dog back and she leaned against the porch a smug look on her face her brown eyes twinkling frustratedly

Kaya looked at Chey and shrugged. She glanced at the girl again, and then looked away

I grabbed my dogs collar then hugged her "I never want to lose you." I pause and look at the dogs face "You are my only friend". Rain barked and sat down next to me.

I shrugged and turned to Chey. I whispered, "Guess she doesn't like us much."
