"Could've fooled me..." Ellissa joked and rubbed her cheek with the back of her hand. "Evil..." She commented and took a bite of her burger. "I'm seventeen and..." She swallowed. "And almost four months." She had to count the months on her fingers. "I think... Well, I know for a fact that I'm seventeen." She reached across the table and brushed some of Trevor's hair back up into his mohawk. "And yourself?" She tilted her head, wondering if he'd look cuter with a big pink bow atop his head. The thought made her grin.

I swatted her hand away from my precious hair.
"I'm 36," I lied, snickering a little behind my burger to see if she would believe me.

Ellissa's head tilted to the other side and her eyes narrowed. She stayed like that for a moment before she sat back against her seat and nodded calmly. "Okay..." She said. "Well, you definitely don't look 36... More along the lines of late teens to early twenties." She covered her mouth with her hand and allowed herself to grin. It was a lie but she decided to play along anyway.

"Guess, then," I said, shoving the rest of the burger into my mouth. I picked up my milkshake with one hand and leaned back, drinking it while I thrummed the table with the fingers on my free hand.

Ellissa had to drop her grin to take another bite of her burger. "Hmmm..." She studied him closely. "Well, you're a senior, yeah? So, 18?" She guessed and took another bite.

Giving up her search for her belongings, she went inside to go to her locker. She couldn't remeber what she had in her bag except knowing that her diary wasn't in there. Going the long way, she started to tear up a little, but remembered that she had to stay strong and not let her feelings out untill she was in private. Walking by her locker, she noticed a girl with a bag that looked like hers. Being careful to be try and be quiet, she creeped up and took a closer look.

I almost dozed off, but suddenly spotted a girl nearby.
"Hey," I started, holding up the bag. "You Ella? I nearly got killed by your bag, bro."

"Close. 19." I muttered. "I have to do another year before heading off to college. And I don't even know if I am going to college, considering my grades. The best I got in all of my high school career was like, B-, and the teachers constantly mark me down because of my behavior. Having ADHD sucks, you know. And I reckon I might accidentally strangle someone to death if I get angry, which is why people avoid me all the time. I'm glad, though - don't wanna spend my whole life in jail."

Ellissa put her food down and sat next to Trevor. "It's okay." She said and reached up to kiss his cheek. "Teachers are stupid and you can't help it." She looped her arms around his neck and pulled him towards her in a tight embrace. "It's okay. You don't have to go to college to live. My parents never did..." Her voice trailed off and she looked down. It was true that her parents never went to college, they dropped out together when they were juniors.

"Yea, sorry about that." she whispered. All the cofedence she had felt with Grey had gone and once again she felt nervous and shy. Taking the bag from the girl she asked "What's your name?"

"Rylee Ashton. Nice to meet you, Ella Rosie Smith. Oh yeah, I don't mean to sound creepy by knowing your name or anything, I saw it on one of the papers in the bag." I gave her a grin and held out my hand for her to shake.

I smiled at her and patted her shoulder.
"Hey, let's forget that topic now. Eat up, Ellissa. You're too skinny." I said, laughing and pinching her cheek again.
