Rylee shook her head, a smile on her face as she watched Andrew with one eyebrow raised. She looked up at the doctor for a second then turned back to him.
"I'm gonna go get some fresh air," Rylee murmured, standing up and walking outside the door into the cold, empty hospital corridor. She stepped into the elevator, hugging her arms around herself as she waited for it to reach the bottom floor. When it did, she made her way outside the hospital and leaned against the wall.
Rylee looked down at the bracelets around her wrist. Maybe she should make one for Andrew. She wondered when his birthday was, and if he could still remember it himself.
Colin's head snapped up, and he gave the girl from earlier a lopsided grin as he rocked back and forth on the horse.
"Come ride with me!" he shouted, then scrunched his face up as he realized something. "I don't mean it like that."
He pointed to the spare horse thing next to him. "Go on that!"
Colin took his messenger bag off and tossed it carelessly onto the bark. Papers, pens and various other objects spilled out, but he didn't seem to care until he spotted a small bottle of pills roll out from the pile. In a flash, Colin had grabbed it and stuffed it back inside his bag along with his other things, his hands shaking. He managed to turn back to the girl and flash her another grin before clambering onto the rocking horse thing again.
