Devin tapped the side of her plastic cup, it making a light noise. "If they aren't gonna humiliate me or something...... I don't really know of a good place. Maybe the forest? What are some good places?" She asked with a shrug. She took another sip of her drink.

Mason just stared at her incredulously and finally managed to mutter, "I don't think they will. They are pretty nice people." He was playing with the new cup of coffee as he stared at the girl's bright hair. She was pretty, he thought. He was finally taking notice of how she actually looked like and every detail of her face.

Devin nodded. "Okay." She looked back out the window. Seeing a police car pass a street in the distance with lights flashing, she just acted like it was normal. Her face was blank for a moment. Her head was also blank. She looked back to him. "The forest then? I've only been to this forest once or twice. But I saw the map and it's huge. I like big forests. I like forests in general." She added. "It's nature-ey and quiet and I love walking along paths." She wasn't an out door person, or athletic person but was till skinny. She only would go outside on her own time to go in the forest.

Mason heard the sirens but ignored them. He took a sip of his coffee and then turned back to her question. "There are more places to go to like amusement parks and stuff and yes, the forest here are big," he said with a little amusement in his eyes. He then flicked his gaze out the window and saw it was still pouring.

Devin nodded again. "I've always liked forests, even when I was a little girl, about five." She paused for a moment. "......Sorry if I am boring you with tree talk." She giggled a little bit. Seeing an employee walk around with a basket of free cookies, she got up and took one, giving a nod as a 'thank you'. She bit into the soft middle.

"I like forests too but I like it better when no one is in them. These forests' are known for their tourism," he said with a small roll of his eyes. A lot of people usually went into the forest to take some pictures and usually in the summer a lot of photographers came in the winter and in the summer. "It's okay. We both like the same thing so I'm not bored," he chuckled slightly.
