"Nice to meet you" Maya said as she sat down on the other bed, that was made up. Half of the room was clean while the other half was messy. She guessed the messy side was Alaska's.

Alaska nodded, and grabbed a hair pony*, and hurried to the bathroom, braiding her hair into a messy side braid. "I'm going outside." she said to Maya, smiling slightly. She hurried out to the hallway, and started down it, towards the door. She bumped into a tall boy. "Oh, sorry." she mumbled, tilting her head back to look at him. "Are you new here? I've never seen you."

He was snapped out of his thoughts as a girl collided into him. "Yes. I probably shouldn't stand in the hallways." His accent prominent. From what he gathered, not many southerners went here. He let himself run a hand through his hair and took out the earbud to give this girl this full attention.

Maya nodded as she decided to change out of her clothes and wear something else. Maya changed out of her clothes and wore a blue blouse and tucked them in her blue shorts. Then she wore a white cardigan on top of it and wore some bracelets for her outfit.

[Koujaku;]

She nodded. "Probably would be a very good idea. Though, I should probably watch where I'm going myself; I wasn't really paying attention." she paused. "I'm Alaska. You are?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.

Maya grabbed her phone and walked outside of the room. She'd come back later and then unpack. First she wanted to explore.

I strode down the corridors confidently, Vera Bradley suitcase in tote. I was p'ed off at my parents for them making me come to this stupid boarding school. As I finally found my room, I slid my key in and swung the door open. Sure, maybe I did look a little enraged, but people should've taken it as a warning. Sort of like a rattle snake, I was not to be messed with when I was in that mood. I threw my bags down on my bed, which was already made, and sat down. No roommate, it appeared, which was a miracle for both me and them.

(Lol sorry bad wb, anyone open to be my roomie??)

Maya walked down the hallway when she caught Alaska's sight and someone else with her. White hair. Weird, Maya thought. Then she started heading down the stairs, brushing past the two and all the way down. On the last stair, she jumped and walked forward, her hands in her pockets, her phone in her back pocket. She hummed a song as she looked around.
