"It's fine" Rory replied before Alaska came up and he greeted her with a slight wave. His mood seemed to have dropped a tad, but not by much. He knew that he had a year left at the most, and he knew this for a while. It was just not something he liked to be brought to others attention. He looked to alaska, noticing her holding onto a cigarette. He took it and chucked it down the hall into a garbage can. "Nope" was all he said to hhat. He was aware how expensive they were, but her health was worth more than a cigarette.

Alaska frowned a moment, but then shook her head with a slight laugh. "Good aim, Tiger." she said jokingly. "I don't smoke as much anymore. My mom made me go cold turkey. I just hold it in my hand nowadays." She raised an eyebrow at his somber facial expression, but said nothing - she could ask him later.

"You shouldnt smoke. You better live to at least 80. I wont be pleased otherwise." He thought i was funny she called him Tiger. The first nickname he ever was given, and probably the last. " You have a life ahead of you, and I will tell you now that you dont want to be nasty because you want to inhale a burnin stick of death."

I looked between the two. Rory did have a good point; the girl shouldn't have been doing that. I stood by awkwardly, glancing around the corridor once more as if waiting for something that involved me to happen. My mind was still racing as I wondered about the details of Rory, even though I would've never asked. If he wanted me to know, then he could tell me himself.

[Koujaku;]

She rolled her eyes. "Okay, I'll keep that in mind. Eighty years old for Alaska here. Can you imagine it? Me with dark grey hair, and a ton of wrinkles, now that's a scary thought," she faked a laugh. "'Burning stick of death.' I'll have to use that one."

I looked at the girl in utter disbelief. "Um, excuse me, but don't you think that's a bit rude?" I asked her in a slightly snippy tone, wanting to speak out now. I hated arguments, but she was just being plain mean.

(( Heh, hate to be a bother, but I like am being dull and can't seem to figure out how Alaska was being rude care to explain e3e ehh sorry if I'm bothering, just like to understand better xD I'm sure you can understand right? ))

(Lol you're fine! Idk, just sort of the whole eye rolling and sarcasm about the situation, considering she was talking to someone who supposedly only has about a year to live. Just my opinion, I guess :p)

Alaska shot Sunni a odd look. "Rude?" she asked the girl, the right side of her mouth curling up into a smirk. "How was I being rude? It's one of my biggest fears in life - growing old." she said sarcastically, though it was true. Alaska hated the thought of being old. She didn't want to have to live a whole labyrinth of a life. She turned to Rory. "Besides, I don't smoke to enjoy it."

"Look, I'm not one to start this sort of crap, but just cut it out with the attitude," I told the girl with a small shake of my head. It made me mad that she seemed to take her life for granted, especially considering she said she didn't smoke to enjoy it. I sighed, feeling like I'd just pushed down a whole long line of dominos that someone had spent hours on end trying to set up. "I'm sorry, I know I sound like a mega b**** right now," I explained to her, my sharp hazel eyes beginning to soften up.
