Camille walked along the sidewalk outside the school. Putting her hands in her pockets, she fixed her gaze on the ground as she walked, attempting to ignore most the people around her. Not that they were really bothering her at the moment, she just didn't feel like listening to anyone right now.

She had only been walking for about a minute or two, before she bumped into someone. Stopping in her tracks, she looked up to see Maya. Cami thought the girl looked familiar, even though they had never really met before. "Sorry..." She said after a moment.

I laughed gently at his statement. "It is pretty obvious," I agreed with him, "But it's not bad." I still was perplexed by his eyes and hair. They just seemed to get to me, making me wonder every time I looked at him. "I guess you could say I'm from Texas, too," I told him, thinking of the various places I'd settled in there. There was Luchenback, Amarillo, and one time we even stayed in DFW for a good few months.

Maya looked up to see someone. "No problem" she gave the girl a grin. "Are you new here too?" she asked as her hair came into her eyes. She blew it away from her light brown eyes as she stared at the girl. She seemed really familiar to her but then as soon as the came to her head, it vanished.

"Really? You've lived in other places too?" He asked, seeing as her tone implied she lived in many places before. He looked at the blonde, curious about her. He always liked hearing about places and things. Then he remembered he could cross something off his list. He had made a bucket list in the eighth grade and one of them was to live outside of Texas and technically this was living outside of Texas. No matter how long the stay actually is. Luckily day one was almost over.. well it wasnt even supper yet but still it was close enough to night to think about school the next day.

"Yeah," Cami replied, reaching up to brush a stray strand of hair back into place. "It's a little different....but It's what I wanted I guess, right?" She asked, starting to be her usual talkative self. After a small moment of silence, she said something else; "Do I know you? You look really familiar."

"Really," I confirmed his statement with a nod and soft smile. "Mainly south of Dixie, though," I explained further. I'd never seen too much of the northern states, although I'd been to the western states. "Is your hair natural?" I asked him quickly, biting my lip as I did so. "I'm sorry, it's just really nice. I like," I told him with a short, nervous laugh.

Maya kept on staring at the girl. "Well, It is a bit different but I'm glad I came here" she said. Then she heard the girl's last part and then frowned. She did seem familiar but she couldn't place it on the exact thing. "It does feel like I know you" Maya said as she concentrated hard.

Rory was surprised by her question but shrugged in response. " Well it's not dyed." He tried to avoid directly answering questions that would lead to his health problems. He hid everything very well however, including his hesitation. At least she didnt find it bizzar. He rather enjoyed it, though his mother hated it because of the reason it was the way it was. He didn't think it was rude, the question, but it was something he was never asked before.

"I am too, I mean there are a few things I don't really care for, but I'm sure it's like that with most people here." She agreed, smiling. "I wonder why? I mean we could have just seen each other around before." Even though she honestly felt like she had actually met this girl before, it was the only explanation she could come up with. "I'm Camille." She finally said, introducing herself.

I looked down at my sandals as we kept walking down the corridor, sort of feeling slightly bad for asking such a personal question. I wasn't one to pry, and I wouldn't. "That's nice," I said, concluding the small conversation we had. "So, what is there to do at this school?" I asked, finally breaking up the silence as I looked back over at him.
