The Orphanage (Not Accepting)

Alex shrugged at the boy called Eddy and then walked away. It was the first time in months she had actually told someone her name. He had never seen her there before, and she was there since she was seven! It seemed like if she was kind of invisible for the others... Hey, that would be cool!

I had just stepped through the doors of the orphanage for the seventh time now, yet another foster family had sent me back. It felt kind of like school, walking in there, awful teachers, wild students, and no friends. I didn't care that i was sent back, i hadn't since i was 10, when i realized that it didn't matter. Nothing mattered, my parents didn't want me anymore, it was that simple. I had been in this orphanage since i was five. I hated my parents, but also missed them tremendously, until i was ten. At that point, i stopped caring, i stopped wishing and waiting for them to return, and i stopped socializing with other people. I don't really know why i don't socialize with others, i guess, somewhere down deep, i still miss them. I guess i still long for them to come back, i guess i still care. But, i don't want to believe it. I don't want it to be true, so i just keep my thoughts and actions to myself.

Phelix rolled his eyes and adjusted his glasses, "You know what..." He asked into the open air, "I don't care. I'm going to go back in there and give them a piece of my mind. I'm such a coward, just running outside." He sat up and pulled himself to his feet, adjusting his bowtie. Before long he was pushing open the door, but he couldn't get it all the way open because there was something blocking the way. He growled and slipped through the space, thinking that someone had placed something in front of the door but found that it was a person. He paused and considered talking to him but decided to simply nod and move on with his life.

Alex entered the building and started wandering around the halls. When she was younger, about seven years old or so, she thought that this was a fairy tale and that she was going to discover new worlds and that it would be magical. Now she hated every single room, every single corner, because it reminded her that she had no parents, that nobody wanted anything to do with her ever. Slowly, she looked over and sneaked inside the kitchen, grabbing a piece of bread and returning back to the halls. She ate the bread and then saw that there was a book on the floor. She picked it up and sat against the wall, and started reading.

Summer looks at emily then shows her a note saying: hello im Summer i havent talked since my parents died and im really shy Summer smiles shly

I stumbled slightly and glared at the boy who had hit me with a door. I scanned the corridor, stepping out of the way of the door so no one would hit me again. I saw a girl, whom i had never seen here before, and i nervously walked past her, fiddling with my fingers, hoping she wouldn't look at or talk to me.

Phelix glared after the male, lip raising slightly in disgust, "Don't glare at me, it's not my fault you were in front of the door." He called after him, rolling his eyes and shoving his hands in his pockets. A string of curses fell quietly from his lips as he walked through the orphanage corridors. "How on earth was I supposed to know he was there? He shouldn't have been in front of the door. It was his own fault!" He sighed, dropping his head down and rolling his eyes, still ranting softly to himself.

Alex watched the two boys fight and wished they hadn't seen her. Of course, they had never seen her before and talking to someone knew was always something big for her. She didn't like to be around people, but what was she expecting when she was in the middle of the hall and there were bedrooms around her? She closed the book but stayed sitting on the floor, his head up and her gaze curious.
