"Oh, that's cool!" I said with genuine interest. "South Carolina," I shared. I laughed quietly as he accused Cali of being hot. "Sugar, you ain't experienced hot until you've been to the South," I told him with a smile. Of course, I hadn't meant to call him sugar in a flirtatious way, that was just the way I talked.

Delilah looks up from her book eventually and has a small heart attack, having looked at the clock. "I'm late!" She yells as she scrambles to her bathroom to turn on her hair straightener. After about a half hour of frantic activity, Delilah stands in front of her tall standing mirror, content with the way she looks. Her long blonde hair is up in a purposely messy bun and she tucked small jewels into it for an extra effect. The jewels in her hair match the diamond necklace and earring set she also wears, along with the gold charm bracelet she inherited from her grandmother. The diamond pendant on her necklace rests across the top of her white lace strapless dress which reaches around her mid-thigh. Along with the dress she wears her favorite brown combat boots, to put her own twist on it. To top it all off she wears a small amount of pearly white eye shadow, mascara, blush, and shimmery cream lip gloss. She would never admit it but she feels very pretty at the moment despite being almost a hundred percent sure she dressed up too much. After a bit of walking into town and to the park, she walks into the lake area with ease, thinking positively.

Sage looked around and sighed, Chase was now chatting up Belle and Morgan still wasn't here. If today wasn't terrible enough he already had maths and science work to finish!

Chase grinned "It was hot enough where I came from thank you very much!" he smirked "You know, the whole point that my parents sent me here was to take a break from the girls and learn some manners but I don't think their plan is working..." he smiled.

Aidan's eyes had wandered to Delilah who looked pretty and dressed up, but had forced his jaw to remain closed and turned towards the stereo. Making his way tiwards it he turned on the system, allowing it to play it's mix of genres of songs. Turning around to face the few people who came he outstretched his arms and forced a wide smile on his face, when it became more of a real smile as guys and multiple attractive girls whom he had gotten to know while over break, and who had gone to a public school in a town not too far from here. "Lets get this uh...get-together? Started!" He shouted before turning the volume up and started to make his way to the center of the crowd.

Delilah smiles as Aidan looks her way and then looks at her boots regretfully and hopes all is fine again between them. She notices that music starts to play and a crowd of people she sort of knows walks into the group of now dancing people. She looks up at the trees as she desperately avoids being dragged into dancing. A small sincere smile plays on her pinkish cream glossed lips. Fairy lights... Thanks, Aidan. She thinks to herself as she notices the strings of lights and lanterns in the trees.

Sage looked to Aiden and grinned, "Alright!" He yelled out, fist-pumping the air. He swam under the water then came back up, his face and hair drenched from the water.

Morgan was walking along the street as she heard an 'alright' coming from the park. She crossed the road and walked near the park, standing in the entrance. "Oh wow." She spoke, embarrassed. "I didn't realize it was a pool party. I'm not even fully geared up. Or down however you want to say it."

Lily swam back to the shore. She carefully dried off her hair and re-arranged the bun. She grabbed a drink and sipped it, holding it with two hands. She was glad it was dark, standing in her swimsuit was a bit awkward in her opinion. Now a few more people had come and most of them she didn't even know.

"I don't think their plan is working, either," I said timidly, laughing quietly for a second or two. It hadn't come as a surprise when he mentioned girls, being plural. I wasn't up for a relationship at the moment, and sure as heck not with some player. Given, he could surely sweet talk me any day, and he was smoking hot, especially shirtless, but I was scared of people like him. Scared that they would make me love them, and then turn around for someone else. It wouldn't have been the first time, either. I crashed my arms gently over my pink swim suit top, all of a sudden feeling uncomfortable. I wasn't willing to let anyone in, really. I hadn't noticed it, but my soft smile had turned into a worried look as my eyes flashed around different parts of the park. Anywhere but Aidan or Chase.
