The Popularity Contest/High School/Accepting

"This class is...um...math or something. Heather can tell you, I have all F's because I just don't freaking care." Joshua lowered his head. He was still a few desks in front of the girls, away from them.

Liam smiled. "Does it matter if your an outsider. I like you, I think your fairly pretty and you are friendly, and funny." He blinked with a honest look.

Andrea staed at him blankly. Lost in thought. She didn't know how this would end. She didnt know if he was finally being honest about his feelings. But if someone has to leave crying, She thought. it wont be me. Andrea sighed and smiled. She grabbed the mustard, and with practiced slopy-cursive handwriting, she wrote "Sure "

"Ah,I hate math. I guess I will just have to go through it. It might be better than I expect!" Vivian said, smiling at the thought that she just made two friends.She took a seat a few rows behind josh. "When will the teacher come?"

Emily followed him. Then they linked hands and walked together down the hallway.

Liam got up and hugged her. "That's great." He smiled again and ordered his food.

Joshua gave a small shrug. "The teacher is usually here by now…so I dunno." He lowered his head to his hands and sighed softly.

Heather looked at Josh and Viv. "I dont know where they are but im not going to sit through class without a teacher."

Emily followed him. Then they linked hands and walked together down the hallway.

Andrea smiled warmly at him. She was excited. She half expected that she would just end up going as a group date with a few of her friends. She sat down in the booth, and waited for the food to arive.
