The Popularity Contest/High School/Accepting

Heather motioned for Josh to come closer then looks over at Viv. "The top dogs in this school are the populars, or as many call them, the poptarts. I mostly don't go near them. The only good popular is Jade. Then there are the cheerleaders. After that, it's the jocks. If you can through a ball or anything athletic, you are a jock. After that, everyone else is considered bottom of the food chain. You have the nerds, the outsiders like Josh, and the regulars like me."

"Of course I do....but I never manage to..." Viv said as she looked down and shuffled her feet, but looked back up. "Do you fit in?"

Joshua gazed over at Viv. "She told you, I'm an Outsider. If I so much as glance in your direction then they think you're trash just like me, since I'm 'contagious'." He didn't seem to mind calling himself those things, he had probably heard it a lot so it didn't matter. He quickly dropped his gaze.
