I wasn't able to be detected by the surface not unless I let out bubbles. The current started slowing down. I was about to let go then I realized she might now be able to see her if she let air out. So I decided to llet some out and cover my mouth. I needed her to see. It if she didn't I'd slowly do it until I was unconscious... I don't even know how far down underwater I am or how far down stream..
