Walking down the streets with my hands in my pockets and my head in the clouds is an easy thing to do. It's even easier when you're walking your dog, who just so happens to be your second closest friend in the world. It's also easy, I've found to get lost this way and I've done it many times to the point where lost isn't even a word to me. I'd just left from my grandmother's and basically have the entire house to myself since she hardly lives there -Dad she's a flight attendant who goes to countries like Africa and freakin China! What do you mean she's staying here? She's moving!- but no need to worry the rents about that. After all Granny can take care of herself and knows I can do the same. No big deal...
Life lesson 1: Never let your dog lead you with your head in the clouds. It is not very considerate and you can in fact get yelled at.
It was with a squeak of shock that I accidentally collided with someone while I was walking and almost instantly the man rounded on me quicker than a freakin snake, red in the face and everything as her yelled at me before I could even attempt to say I'm sorry.
"Dude I'-"
"But I-"
"Seriously-"
I couldn't get a word in and the crowd was watching us. I of course didn't like this at all and apparently neither did Gholka who growled angrily at the man. "DUDE STOP YOU'RE SCARING MY DOG!" He looked stunned to say the least and as if he had brains he suddenly he looked down to find Gholka snarling up at him and I had to pull her away. "Jerk! Next time you want to yell at someone do it to yourself! I bumped into you I'm sorry!" I snapped, stunning the man as I turned away and stalked off, upset beyond belief and feeling more than a little guilty. I hate snapping at people it always makes me feel like a jerk, but that response was completely uncalled for. I sighed and led Gholka and myself to a rather calm looking cafe that allowed for pets. Perhaps a coffee or something would cool me down.
