We have offered places to very few applicants out of 2,000 who took the examination, March 1, 2013. You passed the two criteria for admission. The students who earned a score at or above the cut-off (80 out of 120 points) on the examination and wrote a passing essay were offered admission.

Iriswell Academy admits students grades nine to twelve only. Students who admitted at grade twelve or below can remain at Iriswell Academy until graduation as long as they meet the school's standards for academic achievement and conduct. We look forward to seeing you August 15, 2013 for Open House.

Classes start Monday, August 19, 2013. You will receive your uniform, student ID, and map of the school at Open House!

Congratulations! You've just been accepted to Iriswell Academy, one of the top boarding schools in the United States, located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Just like all high schools, even boarding schools, there will be lots of drama. The cliques run rampant, which one will you be in, the populars, jocks, hipsters, nerds, wannabees, or the normals? Bay is very bubbly and quirky. She's weird, in a sense. She always has a smile on her face, no matter what. Bay loves to be around people, and have fun. She's never been the most popular girl ever, but Bay doesn't care, one close friend is always better than ten unclose ones. She's hyper and confident, and there's rarely a dull moment around her. Bay is very open-minded and willing to try new things, all the time.
She can be snappy and sarcastic when you get on her nerves. Bay is very patient, so it takes a lot to get on her nerves, but, when you do, look out. She's been known to hold grudges, for a long time. She can't stand it when other's put people down, it's terribly mean, and what is the point to it? Bay also hates self-centered people, they're so selfish and rude. All in all, if you're not mean or self-centered, Bay loves you! However, if you are mean or self-centered, you've ruined your chances with Bay.

History;
Bay's had a somewhat normal history. She was born to Ella Osborne. You may notice she didn't have a father, Bay never knew her father. Her mother, Ella, claimed he was a magician, "The moment I said the magic words "I'm pregnant." he disappeared." she would say whenever Bay would ask about her father. Now, Bay hates her father, she has, still, never met him, though. The wish to meet him, has diminished, too. She's always been contempt living in the tiny apartment with her mother. Bay and her mother live in a tiny apartment in Imperial Beach, California. Imperial Beach is very close to the more well known, city of San Diego. She's had a normal history besides the absence of a father.

Something Called... Introduction

Name: Alexis Blue Sauders it's my name, nice to meet you. Why I was named like this? well, it can be a bit embarassing, really. Anyway, my father really wanted to have a son, to name him Alexander like his own father. So, when I was born being a girl, my mom came with the idea of being named Alexis instead. Don't get me wrong, I like my name.

Age: 17 Years on earth Yeah, I was born a december 10th in 1995, in the middle of the night, in London, Britain

Gender: That's an easy one. Don't you think? Well, I'm obviously a girl, thought it would be easy to tell.

Under the lights

Personality: Alexis is sure a very interesting person. She's usually known as a sweet and somehow uptightgirl. Following the rules and helping others around. Even when most of that it's true, she really has a Rebellious side. Behaving wild, and just wanting to run under to the deepest part of the forest or jump all the fences. maybe, to play around with her friends, playing some pranks here an there, running in the grass shoesless. feeling free. She seems to like to run around without shoes, somehow, by the way. Alex is also a Determinate Person. when she puts something to reach on her mind, she won't stop easily, believe it. As when we talk about temper, Alex is not a very short tempered person. Even though, sometimes, she just wants to run under the rain and scream her anger out of her lungs to the world. She's Honest sometimes, too much. When she's really hurt, her voice speaks letting it all out. sometimes, hurting a few. even though she doesn't mean to do so. Another fact about this girl, is that she is a very protective person. Especially around friends or family. She will stand up for them more tan for herself. and if so, be prepared, because that's mostly when her explosive temper shows. Sensitive. especially when it comes to family or self confidence topics. She can break quite easily on that. Funny when you gain her trust, she'll be joking around. seeing the positive side of the smallest things. This can also define her as the Curious type of person. Always looking for something new. Maybe, something to write about. Alex is also know for her Passionate way of being. She puts passion in everything she does and enjoys.
Alexis is also a quite Self-untrustful girl. She mostly doesn't believe in what others say about her, somehow she usually believes she's much less. Still, al that confidence that doesn't puts in herself, appears to be over people she cares for. She'll be mostly cheering you up during hard times, telling you what you can't say about yourself. Alex, is pretty much Naive. She seems to have that innocence in both her eyes and her acctitude. Although, this fades away easily, depending on who she's with. She likes to be outloud and to just be. Alexis is also very smart and seems to have a pretty logic way of thinking. She's usually trying to carry a smile around. When sad, Alex prefers to be alone, dancing all around her room. But most of the times, she prefers company. Alex is also Kind and compassive. She worries about others a lot. Brave yeah, she's brave. She wouldn't be afraid to face you or a problem. Even with her innocent reputation, she's not defenseless. But anyway, she likes to feel protected.

Family/Past : Well, I have to tell is a messy one Her family is surprisingly a really broken one. it all started fine. Her parents James Sauders and Amelie Blue were happily married. They added a new member to the family when Alexis turned six years of age. bringing her sister Danielle to the family. But soon after her 9th birthday, it all fell apart when her parents died on a plane accident. After that, her and her sister moved with their grandmother Lucy. who is now the dearest person, along with her sister to her. She protects them both with her life. and seems to love to share time with her grandmother, being really close to her. She seems to have arguments with her younger sister quite easily. The younger one has turned into an agressive person with the years. Danielle doesn't seems to like the life she has now. But still, both sisters seem a bit afraid of losing eachother

Goals in Life Writting, would sure be my biggest goal. To be a writer. Her biggest goal in life, it's to be a writter. It has been kind of a dream to her after her parents' death when her grandmother, introduced her to the world of books. The realization of what she was able to do with those empty pages, hit her son. and now, Alexis doesn't seem to want to ever stop.

Name: The name? My Name is Xanther... Xanther Perkins. There's no known reason for me, or that I would just randomly tell of why I was named like this. Even though, I Heard it was my so called father's decisión. Ok. I'll accept the fact that 'Xanther' is not so seen lately. Giving you the credit, 'dad'. Perkins is my mother's surname.

Age: 17 and a half old. Born on July 9th in 1995. In Texas.

Gender: Are you kidding me?! you seriously need to be blind... I'm a guy, if you really need to ask...

Under the spotlight

Personality: Is it so hard for you to get to know me? Xanther is not someone simple. In fact, he even uses the Word complicated and he is. Mainly, at the first glance, he tries to keep the profile of a cold and cunning ignoring everyone around him. usually deep in thought, on his own world. He seems quite untrustful and secretive. but if you gain his trust, which isn't an easy thing to do, he can be a really good friend to have, usually behaving quite goofyaround his friends, usually playing jokes. He's used to use sarcasm with both his friends and with those who he dislikes. Despite his 'bad guy' reputation, he can be a gentleman when showing his kind side. He also has some type of weakness towards kids. Xanther can be rather Helpful when it comes to hard siituations. Usually trying to come up with an idea for a posible solution. He can be really Serious when it comes to serious problems. Xanther can also be described as protective standing for others in need. sometimes, not afraid to pick up a fight to protect. Loyal is another good adjetive to describe this guy. He may be though. but still, if you are his friend or ... even more, you'll have his loyality for a life time. He doesn't turn his back on his friends. and hates those who do.
He's quite Charming around people he likes. also he seems to be a good support. Even though, he can be too blunt when frustrated. Talking about love, it's not easy for him to accept deep feelings. even his own sadness. but he can be very Romantic with the chosen girl. Hardworking. yep. he is very hardworking over most of his activities. trying to get better in what he does.

Past/Family: Haven't you realized I don't specifically like that topic?... Raised in a troublesome family. His father Ezra Estefan, started drinking when Xanther turned 3 years of age. He never stopped. although, Xanther being so Young wasn't able to analize the situation. When he turned 10, it all turned darker. His father turned violent towards him and his mother, Julia Perkings, who finally decided to kick him out of the house. somehow, the man visited them every now and then. insisting to come back. He ended up on jail because of a murder. more specifically, for murdering his new lover. Xanther visited to jail once. but afterwards, never saw him again.

Goals in life: Never thought about that, I guess. surprisingly, Xanther does have a goal to reach. and it's to become a good pólice man. he pretty much desires to have a good life, and give what his couldn't.

Family and History : I would say my childhood was as normal as it can get. My parents were happy with me and my older brother, Noah. Mom's job is taking care of the family, and Dad is a Doctor. Noah went to college a few years ago, but it was the local university.
Like I said, I had a normal upbringing. We stayed in Florida until I was about twelve, but I didn't mind the move. I didn't really have any friends cause Lesbihonest.... I was one awkward child. Luckily Noah wasn't and he got me out of my shell by the time I started school in Florida. I'll admit I was nervous. Fine. I was down right scared. I guess it's a good thing that I made everyone laugh my first day. That's when I was first known for the class clown instead of the creep in the corner. It was my best year until High School. I was still known for being funny, but people knew me for more than that too. They also knew that I'm a good listener and I care a lot about people, even if I don't act like it. Maybe that's why I'm so nervous to go to this new school. I'll look the like creep again, and I'm not much of a talker when it comes to strangers. And in this case, they're rich strangers, which doesn't help my nerves.

Personality : Well like I mentioned earlier, I care about people. It always makes me sad to think that there are people out there with out anyone to listen to them. Even if they don't want advice, I know what it's like to just need to vent to somebody, and it sucks when they try to tell you what to do.
Well I also have some tips for people. So if they want to know what to do, I can help. But if they just need to get something off their chest, I can help with that too. I guess I just do for other people what I would want them to do for me. And one of those things is keeping secrets. I would punch any guy who told the world a secret of mine, so I don't tell people secrets that aren't mine to share. I've actually been know for getting into fist fights. Everyone thinks I start them, but usually I get involved because I'm trying to stop someone else's fight.
I guess the reason I'm not the type to start up a conversation is because I use to try to talk to new people, and they would look at me as if I was some homeless guy on the street. So what if I don't look like your classic nice guy? I can do whatever I want with my hair and clothes and nobody can change that. So what if I have tattoos and gages? It's my body and I'll do what ever the hell I feel like doing with it. It's not like I'm some horrible person, obviously. I just don't think society should tell people what is and isn't acceptable.

Digging Deeper : Oh man... I haven't had a so called 'crush' in years. I mean the last time I liked someone enough she tore my heart out. So no, I guess I don't like anyone.
I definitely do not have a girlfriend. Meaning I do not plan on getting married any time in the near future, nor have any children.
Yes, I'm single. No, I'm not gay. I'm as straight as a rainbow! Dur da dur!
I've always liked girls who are confident, but not cocky. And pretty, but not prissy. And she has to be able to take a joke because I'm not changing who I am for any girl, no matter how amazing she is. Also, I think it's cute when a girl is scared so she buries her face in my chest to not watch what ever she's scared of. It's down right adorable. And it wouldn't hurt if she liked bands that I like. Some examples are My Chemical Romance, Green Day, maybe some Blink 182 if I'm in the mood.

Family and History : Well, as you can tell my mom is Lisa and my dad is Steve. I am the youngest of four girls, and the only one living at home. Each of them have traveled all around the world. My oldest sister, Claire lives in Paris pursuing her career in fashion. Then there's Carter who lives in Australia teaching kids how to swim, and adults how to surf. Then of course Chloe is in Costa Rica taking care of sloths. She cares a lot about animals. I'm really close with all of them, but I don't get to see them very often. They rarely even come home for Chanukah.
My family has always moved around a bunch. My parents were both born in Boston and grew up there. They moved to California when they got married, and that's where Claire was born. Three years later they were living in Georgia and Carter was born. Four years after that Chloe was born in Texas, then there was little me in another three years. I was born in New York. I don't remember it though. My parents moved the family to Ohio when I was two years old.

Personality : I've been told that I'm extremely sensitive, which I guess is true on certain occasions. Mostly I just am very defensive. I love debate and I'm taking several classes on it this year. I'm also taking a sign language class. I already know a lot because Claire and Carter know it and taught me a few words and phrases.
So I guess I should tell about the rest of my crazy mind. Growing up I never really got the attention most little girls need. Chloe had a lot of issues, and Claire was sick a lot of her life. She actually didn't get better until after her first year of college. Anyway, that led me to go off on my rebel streak. I mean I've always been a little weird. I loved skulls in fourth grade and wore them whenever I could. That didn't really stop until I got through seventh grade. So my Freshman year I was way into black again, and I loved dreary and loud music, and I was perfectly happy. It wasn't until last year that I realized just how messed up I am. I met this guy who was awesome, but he did drugs. He offered me some, but of course I didn't accept any. But I did go drinking and clubbing with him a few times. I'm definitely not an alcoholic or anything, but I like to have a drink with the occasional celebration.

Likes : Music, dogs, anything Disney, the beach, parties, painting my nails, mascara, video games, long boarding, lightning.

Digging deeper : A crush? Wow, I haven't thought about that since middle school. I don't really like any one I guess. I mean of course there are some pretty hot boys out there, but they aren't really dating material. I'll let you know if I think of anyone.
So pretty much there's no way that I have a boyfriend, husband, kids, or anything like that. Unless you count by dogs as kids.
And it's not because I'm a lesbian. I'm totally straight. Not that I don't love lesbians and there honesty. Chloe's best friend is a les and we get along great!
When I do meet a guy, I know what will make him perfect in my eyes. First of all, he has to be taller than me. I love my heels and I plan to wear them on dates. I'm not getting rid of my dogs for anyone, so he has to be on good terms with my Alaskan Malamute. His name is Kenai. Hopefully he knows how big Kenai is. Also, he needs to have good taste in music. No country. Other than that, I'm good. Especially if he likes Panic at the Disco or Kid Cudi because I love them both.
