Ed looked at Alexis and smirked, "So just how much have you seen, then?" and then stage whispered "He just hates me because I'm better looking than him, and his sister likes me more than him." Ed shot a glance at Teddy, and, accidentally catching his eye, turned away. "Let's go chuck our stuff near the rooms and then-" He stopped abruptly as his phone went crazy, his ringtone screeching out "It's your ex, you should probably answer this call, she'll be at your throat if you don't..." He slid the green arrow across and answered the phone, excusing himself a few metres behind the small cluster of young adults. Unfortunately, it was on speaker phone, and before he could react to it the rest of the group had probably heard the explicit wording that Emma had so carefully chosen to sting. After she'd hung up, he moved back to the group, red faced. "Sorry 'bout that..." He mumbled, not sure if he was talking about the phone-call or the snide comments, possibly meaning both.
"keep your thighs thick, your eyebrows thicker, and your wallet the thickest"
"in the night, the stormy night, away she flies"
"so lying underneath those stormy skies, she said 'i know the sun must set to rise'"
